CHARCHARI CHHAND
1. मृदंग चंग , तंबूर रंग , अति उमंग , गावती सखी स्वर करी |
मृदङ्ग ,चङ्ग और तम्बूर के मिश्रित स्वर रङ्ग ला रहे हैं | उन्हीं की स्वर लहरियों के साथ ताल - मेल बैठाती हुई सभी सखियाँ उमङ्ग पूर्वक गा रही हैं |
The mixed sound of Mridang (two - headed drum) , chang (kind of tambourine ) and tambur (tambour) are bringing colours . Being in sync with those waves of melody all friends are singing with enthusiasm .
2. करताल ताल , बाजे विसाल , वेण रसाल , रमत रास सुन्दरी ||
करताल का ताल भी ऊँचे स्वरों से बज रहा है | वंशी के सुरीले स्वरों के साथ - साथ सखियाँ ताल और स्वर मिलाकर गाते - गाते रासलीला करती हैं|
Along with the melodious voices friends while mixing beat and voice do dance of divine love .
3. नार सिणगार , भूषण सार , संग आधार , निरत करे सनंध री ||
सखियाँ सुन्दर शृङ्गार सजकर , सुन्दर आभूषण धारण कर अपने प्रियतम धामधनी के साथ अनेकों प्रकार के नृत्य करती हैं |
Friends have done beautiful makeup ( adorn themselves ) , wear beautiful ornaments and do many different types of dance with their beloved lord .
4. घम झणाझण , जोड रणारण , विछुडा ठणाठण , छेक वाले फेरी फेरी ||
चरणों के आभूषण आदि झनझना रहे हैं | चरणों में पहनी हुई कड़लियाँ ठनक रही हैं | चारों अंगुलियों में मुद्रिकाएँ टन - टन की ध्वनि निकाल रही हैं, प्रियतम देह को मोड़कर घूम रहे हैं |
Ornaments in feet are jingling . The links in feet are clinking. The rings in all four fingers are making a tinkling sound , by folding his body beloved is going round and round .
5. वचन गाय , हस्तक थाय , भाव संधाय , देखाडे वालो खंत करी ||
सखियाँ मधुर गीत गाकर अपनी हस्त - मुद्राओं के द्वारा भाव प्रदर्शित करती हैं | अपने सुन्दर भावों को सुरों के साथ मिलाकर अत्यन्त उत्साह पूर्वक प्रियतम को भावमुद्राएँ दिखा रही हैं |
Friends singing melodious songs through their hand gestures show emotions . Mixing their beautiful emotions with tone are showing their expressions with great enthusiasm to beloved .
6. हांस विलास , सकल साथ , लेत बाथ , मध्य रामत हेत करी ||
सखियाँ विनोद के साथ विलास करती हैं | खेलते - खेलते बीच - बीच में एक दूसरे के गले में प्रेमपूर्वक बाँहे डालकर आनन्द करती हैं |
Friends do amusement along with humour . While playing in between have enjoyment by lovingly putting arms around each other's neck .
7. वेष वसेख , राखी रेख , सुख लेत , बाहंत मुखे वांसरी ||
प्रियतम की वेशभूषा अनोखी और मनमोहक है | वे अपनी प्रतिज्ञा पूरी करते हैं और अखण्ड सुख देते हैं | मुख पर वंशी धारण करके वे उससे मधुर ध्वनि निकाल रहे हैं |
Beloved's attire is unique and attractive . He fulfills his oath and gives unlimited happiness . By putting flute on his mouth he is taking out melodious sound from it .
8. धमके धारुणी , गाजती गारुणी , चांदनी रैणी , जोत करे जामंत री ||
रासलीला में नृत्य की रामत करते समय पाँव की धमक से पृथ्वी तथा आकाश गूँजते हैं | सम्पूर्ण कलयुक्त चाँदनी से रात प्रकाशमान होकर मानो स्थिर हो गई है |
While playing the game of dance during the dance of divine love earth and sky resonate due to foot thump . The night seems to have illuminated by the complete moon light and become steady .
9. रंग वनमां , सोभित जमुना , पसु पंखीना ,सबद रंगे थंत री ||
वृन्दावन आनन्द से भर गया है | जमुना जी शोभा दे रही है | पशु - पक्षियों की मधुर कलरव ध्वनि सुनाई पड़ती है | वन में चारों ओर चहलपहल मची है |
Vrindhavan has been filled by joy . Jamunaji is looking beautiful. Sweet tweet sound of animals and birds can be heard . There is hustle and bustle going on all around the forest .
10. पसु पंखी , जुए जंखी , मिले न अंखी , सुख देखी रामत री ||
पशु - पक्षी अधीर होकर नृत्य की रामत देख रहे हैं | उन्हें देखने से सन्तोष नहीं होता इसलिए पलक भी नहीं झपकते हैं |
Animals and birds are watching the game of dance impatiently. They are not satisfied by watching , therefore they don't even blink eyelids .
11. निरत करे , खंत खरे , फेरी फरे , इन्द्रावती एक भांत री ||
इन्द्रावती बड़े उत्साह से कई भाव - भङ्गिमाओं से नृत्य करती है और गोल - गोल घूमती है |
Indravati dances with many expressions and gestures with great enthusiasm and goes round and round .
12. वालती छेक , अंग वसेक , रंग लेत , छबके चुमन देत री ||
वह नृत्य की अलग - अलग भाव - भंगिमा करती हुई , शरीर को छटा पूर्वक मोड़ती हुई , फिरकी करती हुई प्रियतम को चुपके चुंबन करती है और रामत का आनन्द लेती है |
She while performing different expressions and gestures of dance , gracefully twists her body , spinning around she secretly kisses beloved and enjoys the game .
