Ornamentation of Shri Shayama maharani ji
(Thakuraniji)
1. अखंड सरूपनी अस्थिर आकारे , सोभा कहुं घणवे करीने सनेह |
जोई जोई वचन आणुं कै ऊंचा , पण ना आवे वाणी मांहें तेह |
सोभा सिणगार स्यामाजीनो निरखुं जी ||
इन्द्रावती स्वरुप में स्वामीजी कहते हैं कि मैं अस्थिर आकार ( अस्थायी पाँच तत्त्व के शरीर ) द्वारा श्यामाजी महारानी के अखण्ड स्वरुप की शोभा (सुन्दरता ) का प्रेम पूर्वक वर्णन करता हूँ | इसके लिए चुन - चुन कर श्रेष्ठ शब्दों का उपयोग करना चाहता हूँ | तथापि वह दिव्य शोभा शब्दों में वर्णित नहीं होती है | श्यामाजी वह दिव्य शोभा और शृंगार को मैं अन्तर्दृष्टि से देखता हूँ |
Swamiji (Prannathji) in form of Indravati says , I in this changeable form ( temporary body made of five elements ) lovingly describe the beauty of seamless form of Shayama maharaniji . I want to choose and use best words . Though that divine beauty cannot be described in words . I see that divine beauty and ornamentation of Shayamaji from insight .
2. ए शोभा ना आवे वाणी मांहें , पण साथ माटे कहेवाणी |
ए लीला साथना रुदेमां रमाडवा , तो में सबदमां आणी ||
श्यामा जी की इस अलौकिक शोभा का वर्णन शब्दों में नहीं समाता तथापि अपनी अङ्गनाओं के लिए इसका वर्णन करना आवश्यक है | इस लीला और स्वरुप को उनके हृदय में विराजमान करवाने के लिए ही मैंने शब्दों के माध्यम से वर्णन करने का प्रयत्न किया है |
The description of supernatural glory (beauty) of Shayamaji does not fit into words , then too it is necessary to describe it for my friends ( souls of eternal home ) . I have tried to describe it through words so that this performance and form can be enthroned in their hearts .
3. चरण अंगूठा अति भला , पासे कोमल आंगलियो सार |
रंग तो अति रलियामणो दिसे , नख हीरातणां झलकार ||
श्यामाजी महारानी के श्री चरणों का अंगूठा अत्यन्त सुन्दर है , उसके पास कोमल अंगुलियाँ हैं | अंगूठे और अंगुलियों का रंग अत्यन्त सुन्दर दिखाई देता है | नखों की अनुपम आभा तो हीरों की भाँति चमकती दिखाई देती है |
The thumb of Shri Shayamaji is extremely beautiful . Near it are are soft fingers . The colour of thumb and fingers look very beautiful . The lustre of nails is unique and appears to be shining like diamonds .
4. हीरा ते पण तेहज भोमना , आ जिभ्या तिहां न पोहोंचाय |
आणी जिभ्याए जो न कहुं साथने , तो रुदे प्रकास केम थाय ||
यह हीरा भी उसी अखण्ड भूमि का है | यह लौकिक वाणी वहाँ तक नहीं पहुँचती | यदि मैं लौकिक जिह्वा से इसका वर्णन न करूँ तो सुन्दरसाथ के हृदय में उसके ज्ञान का प्रकाश किस प्रकार होगा ?
This diamond is also of that same seamless land (monolithic role). This worldly speech does not reach there . But if I don't describe it with my worldly chord (speech) than how there will be light of its knowledge in the hearts of the divine souls ?
5. फणा तो रंग पतंग छे , कांकसा नसो निरमल निरधार |
कूकम रंगे पाणी सोभे , चरण तली वली सार ||
श्यामाजी महारानी के चरण का पञ्जा लाल रंग का है | दो अंगुलियों के बीच का भाग तथा नसें भी अत्यन्त सुन्दर , स्वच्छ और कोमल हैं | पाँव की पहनी (तलवे का किनारा ) मनोहर कुम कुम वर्ण की है तथा चरण तलका भाग (तलवा ) अत्यन्त सुन्दर (श्रेष्ठ ) है |
Toe of Shayama maharani's feet is of red colour . The part between two fingers and veins are also very beautiful , neat (clean ) and soft . The side of sole is of attractive red colour (kumkum colour - powder of turmeric and bit of slaked lime mixed together ) and sole of feet is extremely beautiful (best) .
6. लांक तो दीसे अति लहेकतो , रेखा सोभित अति पाय |
टांकण घुंटी ने कांडा कोमल , पींडी ते वरणवी न जाय ||
चरण के तलवों के अर्धवृत्त भाग अत्यन्त तेजोमय एवं चमकीले है | उनकी रेखाओं की शोभा अनुपम है | एड़ी के ऊपर के भाग में स्थित घुँटी और काँडा अत्यन्त कोमल हैं | पिंडली की शोभा का वर्णन तो हो ही नहीं सकता |
The semicircle part of the sole of feet is very brilliant (radiant) and bright (shinning ) . The beauty of their lines is unique . The parts situated over heel , the ankle is very soft . The beauty of the calf cannot be described .
7. कुंदन केरा अणवट सोहे , विछुडा करे ठमकार |
माणक मोती ने नीला पाना , जुगते अति जडाव ||
चरण कमल के अंगूठे में सोने के बिछुए शोभायमान हैं | और उनकी झंकार सुनाई देती है | ये बिछुए माणिक , मोती , नीलम और पन्ना से युक्तिपूर्वक सुजड़ित है |
The gold toe - ring in the thumb of the feet is stunning (lustrous) and their sound (chime) can be heard . Ruby , Pearl , Sapphire and Emerald are tactfully and beautifully set in the toe - ring .
8. कांबी कडलां रणझण बाजे , घुंघरी तणां घमकार |
हेमतणां वाला मांहें गठिया , झांझर तणां झमकार ||
पैरों में काँबी - कड़ोंकी झंकार हो रही है | घुँघरू की घमक सुनाई पड़ती है | यह घुँघरी सोने के तार को ऐंठकर बनाई हुई है | सोने के तार में पिरोए हुए घुँघरू का मधुर स्वर झनक रहा है |
There is chime (sweet sound ) from the combine rings of foot . Loud sound from the ankle bells (musical ornament of ankle - ghughroo) can be heard . This musical ornament of ankle is made of twisted gold . Tingling sound can be heard from ankle bells that have been thread in gold wire .
9. कांबिए नंग आसमानी फूलवेल , जुगते कुंदन जडाव |
जडाव लाल नंग नीला पीला , कडले सोभा अति थाय ||
काँबी - कड़ों में आसमानी रंग के मणि (नग ) जड़ित हैं और सोने में फूल वेलियों की नक्काशी कर प्रवीणता से कलाकृति की गई है | कड़ों में लाल , नीले - पीले रंग के मणि ( नग ) जड़े हुए हैं | इनकी शोभा अति सुन्दर है |
There are sky - blue coloured gems set in the combine ring and flower work in gold is expertly carved . There are red , blue , yellow coloured gems set in the rings . Their beauty is very beautiful .
10. घूंघरडीनो घाट जुगतनो , कोरे करडा कुंदन |
मांहें मोती फरतां दीसे , मध्य जडियां नीला नंग ||
घुंघरी की गठन भी अत्यन्त युक्तिपूर्ण है | उनके अन्त भाग में सोने के छोटे -छोटे दाने जड़ायमान हैं और चारों ओर मोती डाले हुए है | उनके मध्य में नीला नग जड़ा हुआ है |
The formation of the musical ornament of ankle is very tactfully done . At their end - part small granules of gold are static (motionless) and there are pearls all around it . In their middle blue gem has been inset (set) .
11. झांझरिया एक जुई जुगतनां , कोरे लाल जडाव कांगरी |
एक हार बे हीरा तणी , बीजी मध्य दरपण रंग दोरी ||
झाँझरी भूषण भी अलग ही युक्ति से गढ़े हुए हैं | इनके छोर पर लाल नंग-प्रवाल जड़े हुए हैं | उसमें से एक दुहरे हीरे की माला है और दूसरी माला के बीच दर्पण रंग की डोरी है |
Jhaanjar (jewellery worn in foot ) is also carved with a different approach. There is red coral at the end of it . One of them is double diamond garland (string) and in the middle of the second garland (string) there is a mirror coloured cord .
12. भूषण चरणे सोभंता , अने बोलंतां रसाल |
जुजवी जुगतनां जवेर ज दीसे , करे ते अति झलकार ||
ये आभूषण चरण कमलों में शोभायमान हैं और उनमें - से मधुर ध्वनि झंकृत होती है और भिन्न -भिन्न प्रकार के जवाहरात उनमें दिखाई देते हैं , वे अत्यन्त प्रकाशमान हैं |
This ornament is stunning (beautiful) in the feet and melodious sound comes from them and different kinds of jewels can be seen in them , they are very bright .
13. वस्तर केणी पेरे वरणवुं , एतां साएर अति सरूप |
मारा जीवनी खेवना भाजवा , हुं तो कहुं गजा सारूं कूप ||
श्यामा जी महारानी के अंग के वस्त्रों का वर्णन मैं किस प्रकार करूँ ? उनके अलौकिक स्वरूप का वर्णन तो सागर के समान अगाध है | मेरे जीव की जिज्ञासा की संतुष्टि के लिए मैं अपनी कूप - मण्डुक सदृश बुद्धि के अनुसार वर्णन करता हूँ |
How should I describe the clothes worn by Shayamaji maharani? The description of her supernatural form is as deep as ocean . For the satisfaction of my creatures (soul) curiosity I will describe according to my limited intelligence ( like limited knowledge of frog in the well ) .
14. नीली ते लाहिनो चरणियो , अने मांहें कसबनी भांत |
कोरे कोरे कांगरी , इन्द्रावती जुए करी खांत ||
श्यामा जी के लहंगे का रंग नीला और लाही मिश्रित है , और उसमें सोने की तारों से भाँति - भाँति की चित्रकारी की हुई है | उसकी किनारी वेलबूटों से भरी हुई है | इन्द्रावती बड़ी चाह से उसे देख रही है |
The colour of Shayamaji's lehenga (long skirt) is mixed with blue and dark red , and on it there are different kinds of paintings done with gold wires . The border (edge) is full with foliage embroidery. Indravati is looking at it with great desire (longing).
15. कांगरी केरी जुगत जोइए , द्रढ करीने मन |
माणक मोती हीरा कुंदन , नीला ते पाच रतन ||
लहंगे के किनारे में जो काँगरी लगी है उसकी युक्ति को हम देखते ही रहते है | मन को एकाग्र करके यदि देखें तो माणिक , मोती , हीरे , सोना , नीलम और पाच (हरित मणि ) इन रत्नों का जड़ाव अत्यन्त अनुपम है |
We continue to see the skill of lace on the border of the lehenga (long skirt) . If we concentrate our mind and then see ruby , pearl , diamond , gold , sapphire and emerald (andradite) . The binding of these gems is very unique (excellent).
16. भांत तो भली पेरे वरणवुं , मांहें वेल सोनेरी सार |
वस्तर समियल वनियल दीसे , नव सुझे कोय तार ||
इस जड़ाव की कार्यकुशलता का ठीक से वर्णन कर रहा हूँ | उपर्युक्त रत्नों के अन्तराल में सोने की तार की वेलें भरी हुई हैं | इन वस्त्रों की तरह ही वेलों को इस प्रकार गूथा गया है कि उनकी तार के तन्तु (ताने - बाने )दिखाई नहीं पड़ते अर्थात वस्त्रों के साथ मिले हुए हैं |
I am describing the efficiency of work done of this binding properly . The gap between the above mentioned gems is filled with design of creepers made with gold wire . Like the clothes , this design has also been woven in such a way that their stringy fibers are not visible i.e. they are mixed in the clothes .
17. अनेक विधनां फूल ज दीसे , मांहें जवेर तणां झलकार |
नाडी तो अति सोभा धरे , जेमां रंग दीसे अग्यार ||
इस लहँगे में अनेक प्रकार की फूलवेलियाँ दिखाई देती हैं जिसमें भाँति - भाँति के जवाहरात झलक रहे हैं | इसकी डोरी (नाड़ी ) में ग्यारह रंगो की शोभा मिश्रित है इसलिए वह डोरी भी अत्यन्त सुन्दर दिखाई देती है |
Many kinds of flower work can be seen on this long skirt (lehenga) in which various kinds of jewels can be seen . The beauty of eleven colours is blended in its lanyard/cord (waistband) therefore cord also looks very beautiful .
18. नीलो पीलो सेत सेंदुरियो , मांहें कसबनी भांत |
स्याम गुलालियो अने केसरियो , मांहें जांबु ते रंगनी जात ||
इस डोरी (नाड़ी ) में नीले , पीले , सफेद और सिन्दूर रंग के बीच - बीच में वेलबूटे हैं | श्याम , गुलाबी तथा केसरिया रंग भी शोभायमान है | बीच - बीच में जामुन रंग की झलक दिखाई देती है |
In this lanyard there is foliage embroidery , in between the blue, yellow , white and vermilion (red) colours . Black , pink and saffron colours are also looking beautiful . In between there is glimpse of purple colour .
19. जुगत एक वली जुई छे , ऊभी लाखी लिबोईनी दोर |
माणकदे द्र्ढ करीने जुए , सोभित बंने कोर ||
इस डोरी (नाड़े ) में एक और भी युक्ति है | इस के दोनों छोरों पर नीचे से ऊपर तक लाखी और नीबू रंग के धागे गूथे गए हैं | माणकदे (श्री इन्द्रावती) ध्यान मग्न होकर इन दोनों छोरों की शोभा देख रही है |
There is one more skill in this lanyard . On its both ends from bottom to the top lacquer (faded red ) and lemon colour threads are woven . In meditation , Manakdae ( Shri Indravati ) is watching the beauty of both these ends .
20. चीण चरणिए जोईअे , मांहें वेल मोती झलकंत |
राती नीली चुंनी कुंदनमां , भली पेरे मांहें भलंत ||
इस लहंगे के भांत -भांत के चुन्नट देखें तो उनमें मोती से भरे हुए वेल -बूटों की कला झलकती दिखाई देगी | लाल और नीले रंग के नग सोने में इस प्रकार मिश्रित हो गए हैं कि उनकी शोभा अपरिमित दिखाई देती है |
If you see the different types of gathers (folds) of this long skirt (lehenga) then foliage art work filled with pearls is visible . Red and blue colour gems are mixed in gold in this way that their beauty seems infinite .
21. ए ऊपर जे शोभा धरे , कांई तेहनो न लाभे पार |
अंग चरणियो प्रगट दीसे , साडी मांहें सिणगार ||
इसके ऊपर पहनी साड़ी की शोभा का पार नहीं हो सकता | श्री श्यामा जी की पहनी हुई साड़ी निर्मल और पारदर्शक होने के कारण उनके श्री अंग, लहंगा , तथा शृंगार स्पष्ट दिखाई देते है |
The beauty of saree worn over it cannot be surpassed . The saree worn by Shri Shayama ji is clean and translucent , therefore her body parts (Shri ang) , long skirt (lehenga) and ornamentation (make- up ) are clearly visible .
22. छुटक छापा कुंदन केरा , साडी सेन्दुरिए रंग |
हीरा माणेक मोती लसणिया , मध्य पांच वाणीनां नंग ||
सिन्दूरी रंग की साड़ी में अलग - अलग आकृति के सुनहरे बूटे (छाप ) जड़े हुए हैं | हीरा , मानिक , मोती और लसनिया तथा बीच में पाँच प्रकार के नग जड़े हुए हैं |
Golden embroidery of different shapes is printed in vermilion (chinese red ) coloured saree . Diamond , ruby , pearl and cat's eyestone and in the centre (middle) five kinds of gems (stones) are studded .
23. सोभा तो घणीए सोहामणी , जो द्र्ढ करी जोइए मन |
झीणां वस्तर ने अति उत्तम , कानिए दोरी त्रण ||
अच्छी तरह से देखें तो साड़ी की शोभा अत्यन्त सुन्दर है | वह अत्यन्त महीन और कोमल है | इसके किनारे पर तीन धारियाँ शोभा दे रही हैं |
Well , if properly seen ,the beauty of saree is very beautiful . It is very fine and soft . Three stripes are looking beautiful on its edge .
24. मांहें मोती कोरे कसबी , त्रीजी नीली चुनी सार |
अनेक विधनी वेल जो सोभे , छेडे करे झलकार ||
बीच में मोती तथा किनारी पर कसीदा जड़ा हुआ है | मोती तथा कसीदे के साथ नीले रंग की रत्नकणिकाएँ जड़ायमान हैं | साड़ी में नगों की सजावट से पूर्ण अनेक वेलियाँ शोभायमान हैं तथा दोनों छोर जगमगा रहे हैं |
Pearl in the middle and embroidery on border are embellished. Blue coloured gem stones with pearl and embroidery are inert . In the saree with the full decoration of gems many climbers (creepers) are beautiful and both ends are shinning .
25. सुन्दर लांक सोहामणो , वांसो दीसे साडीमां अंग |
वेण तले कंचुकीनी कसो , जुगते सोहे बंध ||
साड़ी में से पीठ का भाग दिखाई देता है | पीठ का भाग (लाँक ) अत्यन्त कमनीय है | चोटी के नीचे पीठ पर चोली का बन्धन सुन्दरता से बँधा हुआ दिखाई देता है |
The back side is visible from the saree . Back part is very pretty. The fastening (strap) of the blouse appears beautifully tied on the back below the braid .
26. अंगनो रंग निरख्यो न जाय , क्यांहे न माय क्रण क्रांत |
पेट पांसा उर कंठ निरखतां , इन्द्रावती पामे स्वांत ||
श्री श्यामाजी के अंगो से कोटि सूर्य के समान कान्ति प्रकट होने के कारण उनके श्रीअंगो का रंग देखा नहीं जा सकता | उनके पेट - पसलियाँ वक्ष स्थल एवं कण्ठ की शोभा देखकर इन्द्रावती ने अत्यन्त सुख शान्ति का अनुभव किया |
The colour of her body parts cannot be seen due to the appearance of luster like unlimited lights of sun from Shri Shayamaji's body . Seeing the beauty of her stomach , chest and gorge (throat , neck ) , Indravati experienced happiness and peace .
27. अंगनो रंग अजवास धरे , तिहां स्याम चोली सोभावे |
सुन्दर सरवे सिणगार सोहावे , तिहां लहेर भूषण क्रण आवे |
उनके अंगों का वर्ण देदीप्यमान प्रकाश की तरह है | उन्होंने श्याम रंग की कंचुकी धारण की है | उनके सब शृंगार उन्हें अत्यन्त शोभा देते हैं | आभूषण के रत्नों से निकल ने वाली किरणें चारों ओर झिलमिला रही है |
The colour of her body parts is like a radiant light . She is wearing a blouse of black colour . All her ornamentation (make-up) adorn her . Rays coming from the jewels of jewellery are shimmering (shinning) on all sides .
28. कसकसती चोलीने कठण पयोधर , पीला खडपा सोभंत |
कस ठामें जे कांगरी , तिहां नीला जवेर झलकंत ||
कठोर पयोधर पर कसी हुई कंचुकी धारण की है , जिसमें पीले रंग के जोड़ शोभा दे रहे हैं | कंचुकी के बन्धनों के साथ ही जवाहरात जड़े हुए हैं और उनका नीलम (नीलमणि ) का प्रकाश फैल रहा है |
On hard chest , wearing a tight corset (blouse ) in which yellow joints are adorning it . The gems are studded with fastenings of the blouse and their sapphire light is spreading .
29. भरत भली पेरे सोभित , कांई पचरंग चुनी सार |
अनेक विधनां फूल वेल , खसबोय तणां बहेकार ||
कंचुकी में जो कसीदे का काम हुआ है उसमें पचरंग वेलों की चुन्नट कढ़ी हुई हैं | उनमें भाँत - भाँत के फूल और वेले कढ़ी हुई हैं और उनसे मधुर सुगन्ध आ रही है |
The embroidery work which is on the blouse has five colour creepers . Different kinds of flowers and creepers are embroidered on it and sweet fragrance is coming from them .
30. कंचुकी जडाव छे जुगत जुजवी , ऊपर आभरण भली भांत |
सुन्दर सरूप जोई जोइने , मारो जीव थाय निरांत ||
कंचुकी में भाँति - भाँति के नग युक्तिपूर्वक जड़े हुए हैं | इसके ऊपर भिन्न - भिन्न प्रकार के आभूषण सुन्दर ढंग से पहने हुए हैं | श्यामाजी इस सुन्दर स्वरूप को देख - देखकर मेरी आत्मा को शाश्वत शान्ति और अखण्ड सुख मिलता है |
Different kinds of gems are tactfully studded on the blouse . Various kinds of jewellery (ornaments) are worn over it . Seeing this beautiful form of Shayamaji , my soul gets eternal peace and unending happiness .
31. कंठ केणी पेरे वरणवुं , मारा जीवने नथी कांई बल |
पांच हार तिहां प्रगट दीसे , सोभित दोरे वल ||
श्यामाजी के कंठ की सुन्दरता का वर्णन किस प्रकार करूँ ? क्योंकि इसका वर्णन करने की शक्ति मेरे जीव में नहीं है | (तथापि सुन्दर साथ के संतोष के लिए कह रहा हूँ )| उनके गले में पॉंच मालाएँ सुशोभित हैं | उनके कसे हुए डोरे अत्यन्त शोभा देते हैं |
How should I describe the beauty of Shayamaji's throat (neck)? Because my soul does not have the power to describe it . (However I am saying for the satisfaction of my friends (sundersath). Five necklaces (garlands) around her neck are adorned . Their tight laces (threads) are very graceful (beautiful) .
32. एक हार हीरा तणो , बीजो पांच वरण रतन |
त्रीजो हार मोती निरमलनो , कांई चोथो हेम कंचन ||
श्री श्यामाजी के गले में जो पाँच हार हैं उनमें - से एक हीरे का , दूसरा हार पाँच प्रकार के रत्नों से जड़ित , तीसरा हार निर्मल मोतियों का और चौथा हार शुद्ध सोने का बना है |
The five necklaces around Shri Shayamaji's neck are - one is of diamond , second necklace is studded with five different kinds of gems , third one is of pure pearl and fourth necklace is made of pure gold .
33. हेम तणो हार जुई रे जुगतनो , नव सर नव पाटली |
जड़ाव हीरा पाच रतन मोती , मांहें माणक ने नीलवी ||
सोने के हार की शोभा ही निराली है | वह नौ लड़ियो और नौ पट्टियों से बना हुआ है | उसमें हीरे , पाच , रतन , मोती , माणिक्य और नीलम जड़े हुए हैं |
The beauty of gold necklace is unique . It is made of nine chains and nine stripes (bars) . Diamond , panchalogam (made of five metals) , pearl , ruby and sapphire are inlaid (studded) in it .
34. उतरी त्रण सर सोभंती , कांई दोरो जडित अचंभ |
हुं केणी पेरे वरणवुं , मारी जिभ्या आणे अंग ||
उन हारों में - से तीन लड़ियाँ निकलकर कण्ठ में शोभायमान हैं | उनके सुनहरे डोरे भी अलग प्रकार से गूँथे हुए हैं | उनका वर्णन मैं किस प्रकार करूँ ? मेरी जिह्वा इस नश्वर शरीर की तो है |
Out of those necklaces - three chains are stunning in the gorge (throat) . Their golden threads (laces) are also kneaded in different ways . How do I describe them ? My tongue is of this mortal body.
35. कचुंकीना कांठला ऊपर कोरे , कांई दोरे तेज अपार |
सात रंगनां नंग पाधरां , जोत करे झलकार ||
कंचुकी के ऊपर के किनारे से लगे हुए बन्धन के डोरे चमक रहे हैं | उनमें जड़े हुए सात रंग के नग अति देदीप्यमान होकर झलकार कर रहे हैं |
The ties (fastening threads) of the top edge of the blouse are shinning . The seven coloured jewels studded in them are very resplendent (beautiful appearance, bright ).
36. मांहें मोती माणक हीरा , पानां ने पुखराज |
कुंदन मांहें रतन नंग झलके , रमवा सुन्दरी करे साज ||
उनके बीच माणिक्य , मोती , हीरे , पन्ने और पुखराज के नग सोने में जड़े हुए हैं | इस प्रकार रास उत्सव के लिए श्यामाजी शृंगार कर रही हैं |
In between them gems like ruby , pearl diamond , emerald and topaz are studded in gold . This is how Shayamaji is doing makeup for love of dance festival (raas utsav) .
37. कांठले माणक ने वली मोती , कुंदन मांहें पांना नंग |
चीडतणी चारे सर सोभे , कोई धात वसेकनां रंग ||
कण्ठमाला में माणिक्य और मोती के नग लगे हुए हैं और सोने में पन्ना नग जड़ा हुआ हैं | हार में कसी हुई चार लड़ियाँ शोभायमान हैं , उनमें विशिष्ट धातु का रंग झलक रहा है |
There are gems like ruby and pearl in the necklace and emerald is studded in gold . Four tight chains (threads) in necklace are stunning and they have distinctive metallic colour .
38. ए ऊपर वली निरखीने जोइए , तो कंठसरी भली गई अंग |
कंठसरी केरी कली जुजवी , कांई जुजवा छे तेहनां नंग ||
इस कंठूले (कण्ठमाला ) को यदि ध्यानपूर्वक देखें तो यह कंठूला सरककर कण्ठ के साथ मिला हुआ दृष्टिगोचर होता है | कंठुले की कड़ियों की शोभा अलग ही प्रकार की दिखाई देती है | उसके नग भी निराले हैं |
If we see this necklace (kanthmala) carefully , it seems to have moved and got mixed with the throat . The beauty of chains have different appearance . Its gems are also unique .
39. कंठसरी जडाव जुगतनी , मांहें राती नीली जवेरोनी हार |
सकल सिणगार स्यामाजीने सोभे , कुंदनमां मोती झलकार ||
कण्ठसरी युक्तिपूर्वक जड़ायमान है | बीच में लाल तथा नीले जवाहरातों की पंक्ति है | सोने की लड़ियों में पिरोए हुए मोती नीचे लटक रहे हैं और शोभा में वृद्धि कर रहे हैं | इस प्रकार श्यामाजी समग्र शृंगार शोभायमान है |
This necklace (kanthmala) is tactfully imbedded . In between it there is line of red and blue jewels . Pearls threaded in gold string are hanging down and are increasing its grace . This way overall ornamentation (makeup) of Shayamaji is stunning (beautiful) .
40. नख थकी कर वरणवुं , एह जुगत अति सार |
आंगलियों अंगूठा कोमल , नख हीरा तणा झलकार ||
अब श्यामाजी के नख से लेकर हाथ तक का वर्णन करता हुँ | वह शोभा अत्यन्त उच्च प्रकार की है | हाथ के अंगूठे तथा अंगुलियाँ कोमल हैं | उनके नख हीरे की भाँति चमक रहे हैं |
Now I will describe from Shayamaji's nail to hand . That beauty is of very high kind . Thumb and fingers of hand are soft . Their nails are shining like diamonds .
41. झीणी रेखा हथेलिए दीसे , पोहोंचा सोभित पतंग |
आंगलिए बीसा बीस दीसे , कोमल कलाई अति रंग ||
हथेली में बारीक रेखाएँ दिखाई देती हैं | उनके हाथ के पहुँचे (पृष्ट भाग) लाल रंग के शोभायमान हैं | अंगुलियों पर अंकित रेखाएँ बीसो बीस दिखाई देती हैं तथा कलाई अत्यन्त कोमल और कमनीय है |
Fine lines can be seen in the palm . The front of her hand is beautiful in red colour . The twenty lines on the fingers are clearly seen and wrist is soft and pretty .
42. वीटी जडाव छे छ आंगलिए , सातमी अंगूठी अति सार |
आभलियो ने फरतां पांना , दरपणमां मुख झलकार ||
कमल के समान दोनों हाथों की छ अंगुलियों में रत्न जड़ित अंगुठियाँ धारण की हैं | सातमी अंगूठी जो अंगूठे पर धारण की है वह अनुपम है | इस अंगूठी में बीच - बीच शीशे के छोटे टुकड़े तथा पन्ने जड़े हुए है | ें शीशों के टुकड़ों में श्री श्यामाजी की मुखकृति चमक रही है |
In the six fingers of both hands (like lotus) ,there are rings studded with gems . The seventh ring which is in thumb is excellent (unique) . In between this ring small pieces of glass and emerald are mounted (studded) . The face (feature) of Shri Shayamaji is shinning in these pieces of glass .
43.बे बीटी ने हीरा मोती , बीजी बे रंग बे रतन |
पांच रंगनी पाच एकने , एकने करडा कंचन ||
प्रथम दो अंगूठियाँ हीरे और मोती की हैं | इसके बाद की दो में दो दो रंग के दो रत्न चमक रहे हैं | एक अंगूठी में पाँच नग जड़े हुए हैं | छठी में पाच जड़ा हुआ है शेष दो अंगुलियों में सोने के छोटे - छोटे कड़े हैं |
The first two rings are of diamond and pearl . After these , in the next two fingers , two gems of two colour in each are shining . In one ring , five gems are studded . The sixth ring has panchalogam (mixture of five elements - gold , silver , copper , iron /lead , zinc) mounted and in the rest two fingers there are small gold rings .
44.पोहोंची ने नवघरी दीसे , ऊपर ऊंचा नंग |
माणक मोती पांना कुंदन ,ए सोभे पोहोंचीना नंग ||
कलाई और नवघरी आभूषण सुन्दर दिखाई देते हैं | उन पर ऊँचे - ऊँचे नग जड़े हुए हैं | कलाई के आभूषण में माणिक्य ,मोती , पन्ना और सोने में जड़े हुए नग शोभायमान हैं |
The jewellery of wrist and hand (navgari/hathphool/panjas i.e. slave bracelet) look beautiful . High stones are set on them . In wrist jewellery stones - ruby , pearl , emerald and gems set in gold are beautiful.
45. नवघरी ने निरमल मोती , हीरा ने रतन |
कुंदन मांहें पांना पुखराज , चूड मांहें नव रंग ||
नवघरी आभूषण में निर्मल मोती , हीरे और रतन जड़े हुए हैं | सोने में पन्ना और पुखराज ए सुशोभित हैं | जबकि कलाई पर नौ रंग की चूड़ियाँ पहनी हुई है |
In hand jewellery (navgari/hathphool) pure pearl , diamond and jewels are inlaid . Emerald and topaz in gold are adorned . While wearing nine coloured bangles on the wrist .
46. नव रंगनां नंग जुजवा , तेहनां ते जुजवां रूप |
हुं मारी बुध सारूं वरणवुं , पण एह छे अद्भुत ||
ये जो नव रंग हैं उनके नग भी अलग - अलग करके जड़े हुए हैं | इसलिए उनका रूप भी अलग - अलग दिखाई देता है | मैं तो अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार वर्णन कर रही हूँ , किन्तु इसकी शोभा तो अत्यन्त अनुपम है |
These nine colours and their gems have been set separately. Therefore their appearance also looks different . I am describing it according to my intelligence but the beauty of this is very unique .
47. नीलवी ने लसणियां सोभित , पांना ने वली लाल |
माणक मोती हीरा कुंदन , मांहें रतन तणां झलकार ||
इन चूड़ियों में नीलकांत (नीलवी) और शुभ्र (लसनिया ) रत्नों के नग शोभायमान हैं और उनके साथ - साथ पन्ने और लाल नग भी जड़े हुए हैं | माणिक्य , मोती , हीरे , आदि के नग सोने में जड़े हुए हैं और उनमें जड़े गए रत्न झलक रहे हैं |
Neelkanth and shubhra gemstones are adorned in these bangles and along with them emerald and red stones are also set . Ruby , pearl , diamond and other stones are studded in gold and gems studded in them are seen .
48. कोणी आगल कांकणी , जांबु रंग नंग जडाव |
कुंदनना करकरियां सोभे , जोत करे अपार ||
कुहनी के पास कलाई पर कंकण नाम का आभूषण धारण किया हुआ है, इसमें जामुनी रंग के नग जड़े हुए हैं | सोने के छोटे - छोटे सुन्दर दानों के कारण इसकी ज्योति अपार दिखाई देती है |
On the wrist near the elbow is wearing an circlet ornament (kankana) , in it there are purple coloured gems . Due to small beautiful gold balls its light looks immense .
49. मोहोलिए मोती ने कांगरी , नीली राती चुनी कुंदन |
वेल मांहें हीरा हार दीसे , इन्द्रावती जुए द्रढ मन ||
कुहनी की मोहरी पर मोती और कांगरी लगी हुई हैं | इसके ऊपर नीली, लाल और सुनहरी बूटियाँ मढ़ी हुई हैं | इस मोहरी पर वेलो की बुनाई की हुई है , जो हीरे के हार के समान दिखाई देती है | इन्द्रावती इसकी शोभा दृढ़ मन से निहार रही है |
Pearl and kangri (border) are on the elbow edge (seal) . Blue , red and golden design of herbs are overlaid on it . On edge design of creepers is weaved , that looks like a diamond necklace . Indravati is staring its beauty with a firm mind .
50. सुन्दर ने सोभे एक जुगते , झण बाजे रसाल |
चूड केरा छापा अति सोभे , उर पर लटके माल ||
स्वरूप और शृंगार की शोभा अत्यन्त चारुता से अभिव्यक्त हुई है | ये चूड़ियाँ मधुर झंकार करती हैं और उनमें वेल , फूल आदि शोभायमान हैं और गले में माला लटक रही है |
The beauty of form and ornamentation (makeup) is expressed in the most beautiful way . These bangles perform (make) sweet chimes (sound) and creepers , flowers etc. are beautiful in them and garland is hanging around neck .
51. गाल तणो रंग कहचो न जाय , अधुर परवालीनी भांत |
दंत सोभे रंग दाडिमनी कलियो , हरबटी , अधुर वचे लांक ||
श्यामाजी के गुलाबी गालों का लावण्य वर्णनातीत है | उनके अधर प्रवाल के समान लाल रंग के हैं | दातों की शोभा अनार दानें की पंक्ति जैसी सुन्दर है| ठोड़ी और होठों के बीच में छोटा - सा गड्ढा है , जो स्पष्ट रूप से दिखाई देता है |
The beauty of Shayamaji's pink cheek is indescribable (beyond description ). Her lips are as red as coral . The beauty of teeth is as beautiful as the pomegranate line . There is small pit between the chin and lips , which is clearly visible .
52. मुख चोक सोभित अति मांडनी , अने झलके काने झाल |
जडाव माणक मोती ने हीरा , कुंदनमां पांना लाल ||
श्यामाजी की दिव्य मुखाकृति अत्यन्त सुशोभित है | कानों में झालें पहने हुए है और वे प्रकाशमान हैं | इन झालों में माणिक्य , मोती ,हीरे आदि जड़ायमान है और सोने में पन्ने और लाल नग जड़े हुए हैं |
Divine countenance (face) of Shayamaji is very beautiful . She is wearing earrings in the ears and they are bright . In these earrings ruby , pearl , diamond etc. are inert and emerald and red gems are set in gold .
53. नासिका वेसर लाल मोती लटके , आंखडिए अंजन सोहे |
पांपण चलवे ने पीउजीने पेखे , चतुराइए मन मोहे ||
नासिका के अग्रभाग में नथुनी पहनी हुई है | जिसमें लाल मोती लटक रहा है | आँखों में काजल शोभा देरही है | अपनी पलकों को मधुर रूप से मटकती हुई वे प्रियतम को देखती हैं तथा इस चातुर्य द्वारा अपने प्रियतम (श्री राजजी ) का मन मोह लेती हैं |
She is wearing nose-ring in the front part of the nose . In which red pearl is hanging . Kohl is beautifying her eyes . By moving her eyelids sweetly , she looks at her beloved and with this tact fascinates her beloved (Shri Rajji) .
54. नयणां चपल अति अणियालां , अने रेखा सोभित मांहेलाल |
बेहुगमां भ्र्कुटीनी सोभा , टीलडी ते मध्य गुलाल ||
उनकी आंखे नुकीली और चपल हैं | इनमें लाल रेखाएँ शोभायमान हैं | दोनों आँखों ऊपर स्थित भौहों की शोभा निराली ही है | ललाट के मध्य भाग में लाल गुलाबी बिन्दी दिखाई देती है |
Her eyes are sharp and playful . The red lines in them are stunning . The beauty of eyebrows above both eyes is unique . Red pink decorative dot appears in the centre of the frontal (forehead) .
55. मारा साथ सुणो एक वातडी , आ सरूप ते केम वरणवाय |
एक भूषणतणी जो भांत तमे जुओ , तो आणे देह जीव न खमाय ||
हे ब्रह्मात्माओ ! एक बात सुनिए ! श्री श्यामाजी के लावण्य और रूप माधुर्यपूर्ण स्वरूप का वर्णन मैं कैसे कँरु ? अरे एक आभूषण की शोभा की झाँकी ही दिखाई दे तो इस देह में जीव रह नहीं पाएगा |
O divine souls ! listen ! How do I describe the grace and beauty of the pleasant form of Shri Shayamaji ? Hey dear , if a tableau of jewel is seen , the creature (soul) will not be able to live in this body.
56. एक वेसर ऊपर लाल ज दीसे , ते लालकनो न लाभे पार |
जेटला मांहें मीट फरी वले , एटले दीसे झलकार ||
नथूनी पर पिरोए हुए लाल नग की दृश्यमान लालिमा अपरिमित है | जहाँ तक दृष्टि पहुँचती है वह सब लालिमा से झलकता दिखाई देता है |
The redness of the visible red gem threaded over the nose-ring is infinite (limitless) . As far as the vision reaches , it is visible with redness .
57. खीटलडी जडाव भली पेरे , मांहे लाल हीरा सुचंग |
माणक मोती नीला पांना , मांहे पांच वानीनां नंग ||
कान में जो "खीटलड़ी " आभूषण पहना हैं उनमें अनेक नग बड़ी चारुता से जड़े गए हैं | उनके बीच में लाल नग तथा हीरे सुन्दरता बढ़ा रहे हैं | उनमें माणिक्य , मोती , नीलम , पन्ना आदि पाँच प्रकार के नग जड़े हुए हैं |
Many of the gems in the earrings (khitladi) worn in the ear are studded with great beauty . In between them red gem and diamond are increasing its beauty . In them five types of gems like ruby , pearl, sapphire , emerald etc. are set .
58. करणलवने जे शोभा धरे , ऊपर साडीनी कोरे |
सणगटडा मांहे पीउजीने पेखे , आडी द्रष्टे हेरे ||
कान के पीछे जो खाली भाग है वह शोभा दे रहा है | उसके ऊपर साड़ी की किनार सुशोभित है | श्यामाजी घूँघट के अन्दर से अपने प्रियतम को तिरछी दृष्टि से निहार लेती है |
The empty area behind the ear is beautiful . Over it , the edge of the saree is adorned . From inside of the veil , Shayamaji glances at her beloved diagonally .
59. निलवट वेणा चोकडो , पांच मोती तिहां सोभे |
लाल पाच कुंदन मांहें सोभित , जोई जोइने जीव थोभे ||
ललाट के ऊपर टीका लगा हुआ है | इस टीके में पाँच मोती झलक रहे हैं| लाल - प्रवाल तथा पाच नग सोने में जड़ित होकर शोभायमान हैं | इसे देखकर जीव उसमें स्थिर हो जाता है |
There is a decorative mark on the forehead . Five pearls are seen in this mark . Red coral and panchalogam (made of five metals) gems are beautiful , studded in gold. Seeing this , the soul is mesmerized (fascinated) .
60. पटली सामी छ फूली सोभे , मध्य सेंदुरनी रेखे |
बेहुगमां मोती सर सोभे , इन्द्रावती खांत करी पेखे ||
मस्तक पर माँग के दोनों तरफ केशों को पंक्तियों में सम्हारा गया है | सामने से देखने पर यहाँ छ फूल सुशोभित लग रहे हैं | दोनों ओर तीन - तीन फूल और बीच में लाल सिन्दूर से रची हुई माँग हैं | दोनों तरफ मोती से बनी हुई मालाँए लटक रही हैं | इस अलौकिक शोभा को इन्द्रावती अति चाव से देख रही है |
The hairs on both sides of the parting are arranged in rows on the head . Here six flowers look beautiful when seen from the front . There are three flowers on the either side and parting made of red vermilion in the middle . Pearl necklaces are hanging on both sides . Indravati is watching this supernatural beauty with great enthusiasm.
61. चार फूली ते फरती दीसे , बे फूली अणियाली |
मध्य लाल मोती फरतां पांना , ए जुगत क्यांहे न भाली ||
इस माँग में चार गोलाकार फूल आभूषण के रूप में लगे हुए हैं | दो फूल नुकीले दिखाई देते हैं | बीच में लाल और मोती लगे हुए हैं और उनके चारों ओर पन्ने के नग लगाए गए हैं | इस प्रकार की शोभा और सुन्दरता अन्यन्न दिखाई नहीं देती |
In this parting four circular flowers are engaged as ornaments. Two flowers appear pointed . Red and pearls are in the middle and emeralds are placed around them . This type of beauty and grace is not seen elsewhere .
62. राखलडीमां रतन नंग झलके , हीरा पांना बेहु भांत |
माणक मोती फरतां दीसे , वेण चुए गूंथी अख्यात ||
चोटी में रत्न झलक रहे हैं और हीरे तथा पन्ने के नग दोनों ओर शोभायमान हैं | उनमें वर्तुलाकार जड़े हुए माणिक , मोती चारों ओर घूमते हो ऐसा लगता है | चोटी सुगन्धित इत्र डालकर गूँथी गई है | इसमें कहीं किसी भी प्रकार की कमी दिखाई नहीं देती |
Gemstones are seen in the braid and diamonds and emerald are stunning on both sides . It looks like that circular (round) studded ruby , pearl revolve around them . The braid is plaited by adding fragrant perfume . There is no shortage or scarcity of any kind .
63. पांच रंगना पांचे फुमक , सोहे मूल वेणने बंध |
गोफणडे फुमक जे दीसे , तेहनो स्याम कसबी रंग ||
श्यामाजी की चोटी पर पाँच रंग के फुँदने हैं जो वेणी के मूल में शोभा दे रहे हैं | चोटी गूँथने में जिन फुँदनों का उपयोग हुआ है वे श्याम और कुसुम्भी रंग के हैं |
There are five colours of fluff on the braid of Shayamaji , which are adorned in the beginning (origin) of the braid . The fleece which have been used to plait the braid are of black and safflower colour .
64. गोफणडे घूंघरडी फरती , अने बोलंती रसाल |
फरतां पांना दोरी बंध सोभे , वेण लेहेके जेम व्याल ||
वेणी बन्ध में सुन्दर घुँघरियाँ लगी हुई हैं , वे मधुर स्वर से झनकती हैं | जिस डोर से चोटी बँधी हुई है उस पर पन्ने के नग शोभा दे रहे है | यह चोटी काले नाग की तरह बलखाती है |
Beautiful bells are on the bond of the braid , they make sweet voice . The thread (string) by which braid is tied , emerald are looking adorning on it . This braid moves sinuously (twists) like a black snake .
65. मुख मांहें बीड़ी तंबोलनी , मंद मरकलडो सोभे |
इन्द्रावती नयणेसुं निरखे , अति घणुं करीने लोभे ||
मुख में ताम्बूल का बीड़ा है | मन्द - मन्द हास्य उनके मुख की शोभा बढ़ा रहा है | इन्द्रावती अपनी आँखों से मुखारविन्द की शोभा निरख रही है और हृदय में उल्लास धारण कर इस लोभ में पड़ी हुई है कि इसे देखती ही रहे |
There is betel leaf with areca nut in the mouth . Laughing slowly is increasing grace of her face . Indravati is watching the grace of this beautiful lotus face with her eyes and by holding enthusiasm in heart , has this greed to keep looking at it .
66. मुखडुं निहाले अंगूठीमां , शोभा धरे सरवा अंग |
सणगटडो सिणगार सोभावे , श्री कृस्न जी केरी अरधंग ||
श्यामाजी जब अपना मुख अंगूठी में देखती हैं तो उनके सब अंग उल्लसित और विशेष शोभा से सम्पन्न हो जाते हैं , श्री कृष्ण जी की यह अर्धांगना श्यामाजी जब घूँघट निकलती है तो उनका शृंगार विशेष रूप से देदीप्यमान हो उठता है |
When Shayamaji sees her face in a ring then all her parts are filled with gaiety and special beauty . This better-half of Shri Krishnaji , Shayamaji when takes her veil out , then her embellishments (makeup) become resplendent (especially beautiful , magnificent ) .
67. मुखथी वाणी जे ओचरे , कांई ए स्वर अति रसाल |
एक मात्र कणका जो रूदे आवे , तो थाय फेरो सुफल संसार ||
श्यामाजी के मुखारविन्द से जो वाणी निकलती है वह अत्यन्त सुमधुर और रसपूर्ण हैं | यह स्वर और शृंगार की शोभा क्षण भर के लिए भी यदि हमारे हृदय में स्थिर ही जाए तो इस संसार में हमारा आगमन सफल हो जाए |
When Shayamaji speaks from her beautiful face , the voice which comes out is extremely melodious and full of happiness (pleasure) . If we are able to hold this beautiful sound and grace of make up in our hearts even for a second , then may our arrival in this world be successful .
68. सुखम सरूप ने उनमद अंगे , केणी फेरे ए वरणवाय |
मारी बुध सारूं हुं वरणवुं , इन्द्रावती लागे पाय ||
श्यामाजी महारानी का स्वरूप चिन्मय है तथा अंग - प्रत्यङ्गों में मद भरा हुआ है | उसका वर्णन किस प्रकार किया जाए ? तथापि मैंने अपनी बुद्धि अनुसार वर्णन किया है | इस प्रकार इन्द्रावती श्यामाजी के चरणों में वन्दना करती है |
The form of Maharani Shayamaji is blissful (supreme consciousness ) and her whole body is full of passion . How to describe it ? However I have described it according to my intelligence . In this way Indravati worships at the feet of Shayamaji.
69. पांउ भरे एक भांतसुं , श्यामाजी सोभे एणी चाल |
जीव निरखीने नेत्र ठरे , इन्द्रावती लिए रंग लाल ||
श्यामाजी अनुपम और विशेष संतुलित चाल से चल रही हैं | उनकी यह चाल अत्यन्त सुन्दर है | इस शोभा को देखकर आँखों को शीतलता प्राप्त होती है | इन्द्रावती उत्साह और प्रेम की लालिमा से लाल हो रही है |
Shayamaji is walking at an excellent and epecially balanced pace . Her move is very beautiful . Eyes get coolness by seeing this beauty . Indravati is turning red with excitement and love .
70. ए सिणगार जोइए ज्यारे निरखी , त्यारे सुं करे मायानो पास |
साथ सकल तमे जो जो विचारी , वली स्यामा ते आव्या साख्यात ||
इस शृंगार की शोभा जब अन्तः दृष्टि से देखता है तो माया का प्रभाव क्या करेगा | आप विचार कर लीजिए | श्यामाजी पुनः सद्गुरु देवचन्द्रजी के रूप में साक्षात् प्रकट हुई हैं |
When you see this beauty of make up from within then what can effect of illusion (maya) do . You consider it . Shayamaji has again appeared in the form of spiritual teacher Devchandji .
71. सुन्दर शोभा स्यामाजी केरी , निरखी निरखी ने निरखुंजी |
अंतर टालीने एक थयां , इन्द्रावती कहे हुं हरखुंजी ||
श्री श्यामाजी के स्वरूप की सुन्दर शोभा इन्द्रावती वारंवार देखना चाहती है | इंद्रावती कहती है कि माया के आवरण को हटाकर मेरे हृदय में श्यामाजी एकाकार हो गई है | इसलिए मैं हर्षित होती हूँ |
Indravati wants to see the beautiful beauty of Shri Shayamaji's form again and again . Indravati says that by removing the cover of illusion (maya) , Shayamaji has become one in my heart . That's why I am happy .
