ORNAMENTATION OF SHRI RAJJI
1. पहेलो सिणगार कीधो मारे वालेजीए , तेहनुं ते वरणवुं लवलेस |
पछे संवाद वालाजी साथनो , ते मारी बुध सारूं कहेस ||
योगमाया के मण्डल में प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण ने सर्वप्रथम अलौकिक शृंगार धारण किया | इन्द्रावती कहती है कि इसका थोड़ा - सा वर्णन करने के उपरान्त प्रियतम तथा सुन्दरसाथ के बीच हुए पारस्परिक प्रेम सम्वाद का वर्णन मैं अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार करुँगी |
In yogmaya zone (mandal) , beloved Shri Krishna first of all wore the supernatural (unique) make - up and ornamentation . Indravati says that after a little description of it , I will give description of mutual love dialogue (talks) between beloved and companions (sundersath / friends) according to my intelligence .
2. सोभा रे मारा स्याम तणी , सखी केणी पेरे वरणवुं एह |
सबदातीत मारा वालाजीनी सोभा , मारी जिभ्या आणी देह ||
हे सखियों ! मेरे श्याम सुन्दर श्री कृष्ण की शोभा का वर्णन मैं किस प्रकार करूँ ? मेरे प्राणाधार प्रियतम की शोभा शब्दातीत है | (उसका वर्णन करने वाली ) मेरी यह जिह्वा तो मायावी देह का ही भाग है |
O friends ! How do I describe the grace (beauty) of my Shyamsunder Shri Krishna ? The beauty of my beloved (my life), is inexpressible (beyond words) . (who describes him ) This tongue of mine is part of this illusionary body .
3. चरण तणां अंगूठा कोमल , नख हीरा तणां झलकार |
रंग तो जोई जोई मोहिए , पासे कोमल आंगलियों सार ||
श्री राजजी (श्री कृष्ण ) के चरण कमल का अंगूठा कोमल है तथा उसके नख हीरे की भाँति तेजस्वी आभा से चमक रहे है | चरणों की सुंदरता और रंग को देखकर मन मोहित होता है | उस अंगूठे के पास की चारों अंगुलियाँ कोमल और श्रेष्ठ हैं |
The thumb of Shri Rajji's (Shri Krishna) feet is soft and its nails are shining like diamonds with radiant aura . The mind is fascinated by seeing the beauty and colour of the feet . The four fingers near the thumb are soft and superior .
4. फणा नसो अने कांकसा , अति रंग घणुं रे सोहाय |
जीव थकी अलगां नव कीजे , रखिए चरण चित मांय ||
चरण के आगे का व ऊपर का भाग , चरण की नसों तथा अंगुलियों के बीच का भाग ये सभी अत्यन्त मोहक रंग के हैं और शोभा दे रहे हैं | इन चरणों को अपने प्राणों से कभी भी अलग न कर उन्हें चित्त में ही धारण करना चाहिए |
The front and the upper part of the feet , veins of the feet and middle part of fingers , all are of very enticing (attractive) colour and are adorning these . These feet should never be separated from your life , but always have them in mind .
5. चरण तले पदमनी रेखा , करे ते अति झलकार |
पानी लांक लाल रंग सोये , इन्द्रावती निरखे करार ||
चरण के नीचे के भाग में अर्थात तलवे में पद्य (कमल) आकार की रेखा है | वह अत्यन्त तेजोमयी हो चमक रही है | चरणों का पानी (तलवों का किनार भाग ) और लाँक (तलवों का गहरा भाग ) लाल रंग से सोभायमान हैं | इन्द्रावती इन्हें देखकर अत्यन्त आनन्दित होती है |
There is lotus shaped line in the bottom part of the feet i.e. the sole . It is shining brightly . The edge of the sole and inner (deep) part of sole are beautiful in red colour . Indravati is very happy to see them .
6. टांकन घूंटी ने कांडा कोमल , कांबी कडलां बाजे रसाल |
घूंघरडी घम घम स्वर पूरे , मांहें झांझर तणो झमकार ||
चरणों की एड़ी के ऊपर का भाग , घूँटी (टखने ) और कलाइयाँ अत्यन्त कोमल हैं | इनपर कड़े और नूपुर पहने हुए हैं , जो रसमय और मधुर ध्वनि करते हैं | उनमें लगी हुई घुँघरियाँ धमक - धमक ध्वनि द्वारा झनझना रही हैं |
The upper part over heels , ankle and wrist are very soft . Bangles and anklet with bells i.e. nupur (musical ornament for the feet ) are worn over it , which make charming and melodious (sweet) sound . The bells throbbing in them are rattling ( tingling) loudly .
7. कांबी कडलां जुगते जडियां , सात बानी नग सार |
लाल पांना हीरा माणक नीलवी , कुंदनमां मोती झलकार ||
उन्होंने पहने हुए नूपुर और कडले में सात प्रकार के सुन्दर नग बड़ी कुशलता से जड़े गए हैं | सोने में जड़े हुए लाल , पन्ना , हीरा , माणिक्य , नीलमणि और और मोती ये सब प्रकाशमान हो रहे हैं |
Anklet with bells (nupur) and broad bangles (kandle) worn have seven types of beautiful gems which are studded efficiently . Red , emerald , diamond , ruby , sapphire and pearl studded in gold are all shining brightly .
8. झांझरियां जडाव जुगतनां , करकरियां सोभंत |
घूंघरडी करडा जडतरमां , झलहल हेम करंत ||
पाँव में पहनी हुई झांझरी भूषण बड़ी कुशलता से बनाई गई है | उनके अन्तभाग में कुरेदे हुए सोने के छोटे - छोटे दाने सुशोभित हो रहे हैं तथा सोने में लगी हुई घुँघरियां और रत्न कणिकाएँ जगमगा रही हैं |
Anklet (jhaanjar - ornament for foot / ankle bracelet) worn on the foot is very skillfully made . Small grains (balls) of gold in their interior are beautifying and bells and gemstones on gold are shining (flaring) .
9. कणक तणां वाला मांहें गठिया , निरमल नाका झलकंत |
झांझरियामां जुगते जडियां , भली पेरे मांहें भलंत ||
सोने के तार में घुँघरी पिरोई गई है | उनके छिद्र अत्यन्त चमक रहे हैं | विशेष युक्ति द्वारा उन्हें इस प्रकार जड़ा गया है कि परस्पर मेल सुन्दर लगता है |
The musical ornament of ankle / ankle bells have been threaded in gold wires . Their holes are very shining . They are thus studded by special skill that their mutual union looks beautiful .
10. पींडी ऊपर पायचा , ने झीणी कुरली झलवार |
केसरीए रंग सूथणी , इन्द्रावती निरखे करार ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण के पाँव की पिंडलिओं पर धारण किए हुए पायचा भूषण की भाँति नीचे वाले भाग पर छोटी - छोटी बूटियाँ काढ़ी गई हैं | सुथनी (पायजामा ) केसरी रंग की है | इन्द्रावती इसे देखकर आनन्दित हो रही है |
The small herb / floral embroidery on the lower part is same as done on the footwear worn on the back part of leg (calf) of beloved Shri Krishna . Loose trousers (pajamas / salwar) is of saffron colour. Indravati is delighted to see these .
11. मोहोलिए मोती ने वली नेफे , वेल टांकी बेहु भांत |
नाडी मांहें नव रंग दीसे , माणकदे जुए करी खांत ||
सुथनी के मोहरे पर मोती टाँके हुए हैं और डोरी के बन्ध के ऊपर तथा दोनों ओर दो प्रकार की वेलों की चित्रकारी की हुई है | इस सुथनी के बन्ध के डोरों में नवरंग देदीप्यमान हैं | माणिकदे (इन्द्रावती ) उन्हें उत्साह पूर्वक देख रही है |
On the edge of loose trousers , pearls are stitched and on the top of lanyard band and on both sides painting of two types of creepers is done . Nine colours are resplendent (very bright ) in the lanyard band of the trousers . Indravati is watching them enthusiastically .
12. सेत स्याम ने सणिए सेन्दुरिए , कखुवर बंने कोर |
नीलो पीलो जांबू गुलालियो , ए सोभा अति जोर ||
सुथनी डोरे के नौ रंग में सफेद , काला , खाकी , सिन्दुरी , नीला , पीला, जामुनी और गुलाबी रंग हैं और दोनों छोर कुसुम्भी (कुमकुम ) जैसे लाल रंग के हैं | ये सब रंग अति शोभा दे रहे हैं |
The nine colours of lanyard are white , black , light brown , saffron , blue , yellow , purple and pink and on both sides are of kumkum (turmeric and slaked lime ) like red colour . All these colours are beautiful .
13. पीली पटोली पहेरी एक जुगते , मांहे विविध पेरे जडाव |
जीव तणुं जीवन ज्यारे जोइए , त्यारे नव मूकाए लगार ||
पीला पीताम्बर बड़ी युक्ति पूर्वक पहना गया है | इसमें भी अनेक प्रकार के नग जड़े हुए हैं | प्राणों के आधार श्री श्यामसुन्दर के इस शृंगार की शोभा जब हम देखते हैं तो एक पलके लिए भी उसे दृष्टि से दूर करने का मन नहीं होता |
Dress (dhoti / loincloth) in yellow has been worn with great tact. There are many types of stones / gems studded in it too . When we see the beauty of this ornamentation of our base of life Shri Shyamsunder , so even for a moment one does not feel like removing it from sight .
14. कोरें वेल जडाव जुगतनी , मध्य जडावनां फूल |
जडाव झलहल जोर करे , चीर कनियानी कोरे मस्तूल ||
पीताम्बर के किनारे पर वेल इत्यादि की चित्रकारी अत्यन्त युक्ति पूर्वक की गई है | बीच - बीच में सुन्दर फूल और बूटे बने हैं | यह कशीदाकारी अत्यन्त शोभा देती है | कपड़े के पीछे किनारे पर रेशम के तार से कशीदा काढ़ा गया हैं |
On the edge of yellow dress , painting of creepers etc. has been tactfully done . Beautiful flowers and herbs are made in between . This embroidery is very beautiful . On the back edge of the cloth , embroidery is done with silk wire .
15. माणक मोती ने नीली चुनी , फूलवेल मांहें झलकंत |
सोभा मारा स्यामजीनी जोई जोई जोइए , मारी तेणे रे काया ठरंत ||
फूल वेलियों के मध्य में जड़े हुए माणिक्य , मोती , नीलम और सोने की टिकियाँ झिलमिला रही हैं | हमारे श्यामसुन्दर के शृंगार की यह शोभा देखते ही बनती है | अर्थात देखने से जी नहीं भरता | उसे देखकर मेरे अंग शीतल हो जाते हैं |
Ruby , pearl , sapphire and gold pellets that are studded in the middle of flowers and herbs are shimmering . This beauty of ornamentation of our Shyamsunder is made of sight . That is , I do not feel filled with seeing . Seeing it makes my limbs (body parts) cool (calm and peace) .
16. नीलो ने कांई पीलो दीसे , कणा तणो रंग जेह |
कानी छेडा जुजवी जुगते , लवलेस कहुं हुं तेह ||
पटुके का रंग नीला तथा पीला दिखाई देता है तथा उनके दोनों छोर कुशलता पूर्वक बनकर शोभायमान हैं इसका थोड़ा सा वर्णन यहाँ कर रहा हूँ|
The colour of stole (patuka)appears blue and yellow and their both ends are skillfully graceful , after they were made . I am describing a little bit here .
17. छेडे हेम हीरा ने पुखराज पांना , कोरे माणक नीलवी ने मोती |
कानी छेडा जुजवी जुगते , इन्द्रावती खांत करी जोती ||
इस पटुके के पल्लू पर सोना , हीरा , पुखराज और पन्ने के नग लगे हुए हैं | किनारे के छोर पर माणिक्य , नीलम और मोती जड़े हुए हैं | यह पल्लू और उसके छोर बड़ी कुशलता से बने हुए हैं | इन्द्रावती इसे बड़ी चाह से देख रही है |
On the loose end (pallu) of this stole gems of gold , diamond , topaz and emerald are attached . On the edge of ends ruby , sapphire and pearls are inlaid . This loose end (pallu) and its ends are made very efficiently . Indravati is watching this with great desire .
18. अंगनो रंग कह्यो नव जाय , जाणे तेज तणो अंबार |
पेट पांसा उर कंठ निरखतां , इन्द्रावती पामे करार ||
श्री राजजी के अंगो के रंग का वर्णन अवर्णनीय है | ऐसा आभास होता है कि यह तेज का पुञ्ज है | पेट , पसलियाँ , छाती और कण्ठ की सुकुमार चारुता को देखकर इन्द्रावती पुलकित होती है |
The description of the colour of the limbs (body parts ) of Shri Rajji is indescribable . There is a feeling that it is a beam of light . Indravati is happy by looking at the tender fineness (beauty) of stomach , ribs , chest and gorge .
19. रतन हीरना बे हार दीसे , त्रीजो हेम तणो जडाव |
चोथो हार मोती निरमलनो , करे जुजवी जुगत झलकार ||
हीरे और रत्न की दो मालाएँ दिखाई देती हैं | तीसरा हार सोने में जड़ाव (नक्काशी ) किया हुआ है | चौथी माला निर्मल मोतिओं से बनाई गई है | ये सब मालाएँ भिन्न - भिन्न विशिष्टताओं से प्रकाश फैला रही हैं |
Two garlands of diamonds and jewels are seen . The third necklace is carved in gold . The fourth garland is made of pure pearls. All these garlands are spreading light with different characteristics .
20. उतरी जडाव सर बे सोभंती , चुनी राती नीली जुगत |
निरखी निरखीने नेत्र ठरे , पण केमे न पामीए त्रपत ||
उतरी हार में रत्नों से जड़ित दो पंक्तियाँ सुशोभित हैं | वे अनुपम शोभा बिखेर रही हैं | इनमें लाल और नीले रंग के रत्नों की टिकियाँ युक्ति पूर्वक जड़ी गई हैं | इनकी शोभा देखकर आँखे शीतल हो जाती हैं किन्तु उन्हें तृप्ति नहीं मिलती |
In the lower necklace , two rows of gems are adorned . It is spreading unique beauty . In this pellets of red and blue gems is expertly studded . Seeing their beauty , eyes become cool (fresh) but they (eyes) do not get satisfaction .
21. रंग सेंदुरिए पछेडी , अने मांहें कसबनी भांत |
छेडे तार ने कसबी कोरे , इन्द्रावती जुए करी खांत ||
श्री कृष्ण जी ने सिन्दुरिया रंग का उत्तरीय गले में डाला हुआ है | जिसमें अनेक रंग के कशीदे काढ़े गए हैं | उत्तरीय के दोनों छोरों पर कशीदाकारी के डोरे बुने हुए हैं उसे इन्द्रावती बड़ी चाह से देख रही है |
Shri krishna has put a vermilion coloured long scarf / shawl (uttariy) in neck . In which embroidery of many colours has been done . There are embroidered strings on both side of the long scarf (uttariy) , Indravati is looking at them with great desire .
22. अंग ऊपर आणी बने चोकडी , छेडा बंने पासे लटकंत |
नवलो भेष लीधो एक भांतनो , जोई जोइने जीव अटकंत ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण जी की छाती पर उत्तरीय धारण करने से जो चतुष्कोण बनता है वैसा ही चतुष्कोण पीठ के भाग में भी बना हुआ है और उसके दोनों छोर दोनों ओर लटक रहे हैं | इस प्रकार प्रियतम ने एक नूतन भेष धारण किया है | उसकी सुन्दरता और शोभा देखते ही अन्तरात्मा स्थिर हो जाती है |
The quadrangle which is formed by wearing the long scarf (uttariy) on the chest of Shri Krishna is also made in the back and its both ends are hanging on the both sides . In this way , the beloved has a new appearance . Seeing his beauty and grace the soul (conscience) becomes stable .
23. कोमल कर एक जुई रे जुगतना , जो वली जोइए रंग |
झलकत नख अंगूठा आंगलियों , पोहोंचा कलाई पतंग ||
प्रियतम के कोमल हाथ एक विशेष और अलग ही प्रकार की सुन्दरता से पूर्ण हैं | हस्त कमल का रंग देखें तो उनके अंगूठे तथा अंगुलियों के नख प्रभा से चमक रहे हैं और हाथ का पहोंचा (हथेली का पृष्ठ भाग ) और कलाई का रंग भी लाल है |
The tender hands of the beloved are full of special and different kind of beauty . If you see the colour of the hand (as lotus shaped) , then the nails of his thumb and fingers are shining with brilliance (brightness) and the colour of surface of palm and wrist is also red .
24. झीणी रेखा हथेली आंगलिए , सात वीटी सोभंत |
त्रण वीटी ऊपर नंग दीसे , अति घणुं ते झलकंत ||
हाथ की कोमल हथेली में बारीक रेखाएँ हैं | अंगुलियों में सात अंगूठियाँ शोभायमान हैं | उनमें से तीन अंगूठियों में नग जड़े हुए हैं जो अत्यन्त प्रकाशमान हैं और ज्योति के समान चमकते हैं |
There are fine lines in the soft palm of the hand . The seven rings in the fingers are stunning (graceful) . Out of them , there are gems set in three rings , which are very bright and they shine like light .
25. अंगूठिए लाल चुनीनी जडतर , बे वीटी हीरा रतन |
एक वीटी ने नीलुं पानुं , बीजा बांकडा वेलिया कंचन ||
अंगूठी में लाल के नग जड़े हैं | दो अंगूठियाँ हीरे और रत्नों की बनी हुई हैं| एक अंगूठी में नीलम और पन्ने के नग जड़े हुए हैं | जब दूसरी अंगूठी सोने के तारों से बनी हुई वलों के कारण सुन्दर दिखाई देती है |
In the ring gems of red are studded . Two rings are made of diamond and jewels . Sapphire and emeralds are studded in one ring . Where as other ring made of gold wires looks beautiful .
26. कोमल कांडे कडली सोभे , नीली जडित अति सार |
कडली पासे पोहोंची घणी ऊंची , करे ते अति झलकार ||
कोमल कलाई पर कड़ा धारण किया हुआ है , जिसमें उत्तम प्रकार के नीलम जड़ायमान हैं | इस कड़े के पास कलाई के ऊपर पहुँची नामक आभूषण धारण किया हुआ है | इसमें नगों की तेजस्वी शोभा अत्यन्त झलक रही है |
Is wearing a bracelet on the soft wrist , in which high quality of sapphire are studded (inert) . Near the bracelet , above the wrist ornament name pahunchi has been worn . In it stunning beauty of gems is very visible .
27. मध्य माणक ने फरतां मोती , पाच तणो नीलास |
किरण ज्यारे उठतां जोइए , त्यारे जोत न माय आकास ||
इस पहुँची के मध्य भाग में माणिक्य का नग जड़ा हुआ है , और उसके चारों ओर मोती जड़े हुए हैं | वहाँ हरितमणि (पाच ) के नगों का हरापन झलकता है | इस नग से उठती हुई किरणों को देखिए , वे आकाश में समा नहीं पा रही हैं |
In the centre part of this ornament pahunchi , ruby gem has been studded and around it pearls are set . The greeners of andradite (gem- beryl) reflects . See the rays rising from this gem , they cannot fit in the sky (i.e. too bright) .
28. कोमल कोणी चंदन अंग चरचित , मणि जडित बाजुबंध |
कंचन कसबी फुमक बेहु लटके , सुं कहुं सोभा सनंध ||
कोमल कुहनियों के ऊपर स्थित भुजाओं पर चन्दन का लेपन किया हुआ है | इनके ऊपर मणि जड़ित बाजूबन्ध पहने हुऐ हैं | उसमें सोने के तार और कशीदे के गुच्छे लटक रहे हैं | इस शोभा का वर्णन किस प्रकार करूँ ?
Sandalwood paste is coated on the arms above the soft elbows . Over it , is wearing gems - studded armlets . Gold wire and embroidered flakes are hanging in it . How to describe this beauty ?
29. जोइए मुखारविंद गाल बंने गमां , तेज कह्युं नव जाय |
अधखिण जो अलगा रहिए , त्यारे चितडां उपापला थाय ||
मुख कमल के दोनों गालों की तेजस्वी आभा का वर्णन नहीं हो सकता | आधे क्षण के लिए भी यदि यह सुन्दर छवि दिखाई नहीं देती है तो चित्त में व्याकुलता छा जाती है |
The stunning aura of both cheeks of the face cannot be described. Even for half a moment if this beautiful image is not visible , so distraction dominates the mind .
30. हरवटी सोहे हंसत मुख दीसे , वली जोइए अधुरनो रंग |
दंत जाणे दाडिमनी कलियो , अधुर परवालीनो भंग ||
हँसते हुए मुखारविन्द में चिबुक (ठुड्डी ) की शोभा अनुपम है | फिर होठों का रंग देखे तो उनके बीच में चमकते हुए दाँत अनार की कली समान दृष्टिगोचर होते हैं | होठों की लाली प्रवाल की कान्ति को भी मलिन करती है |
The chin of the laughing face is of unique beauty . Then see the colour of the lips , the shinning teeth in their middle , have vision similar to a line of pomegranate buds . The redness of the lips also dominates the lustre of coral .
31. मुख ऊपर मोती निरमल लटके , वेसर ऊपर लाल |
काने करण फूल जे सोभा धरे , ते तां झलके मांहें गाल ||
नासिका पर लाल नग का नासा - भूषण पहना हुआ है | जिसके ऊपर निर्मल मोती लटका हुआ है | कानों में धारण किए हुए कर्णफूल की शोभा अद्वितीय है और उसकी आभा गालों पर झलक रही है |
Red gem nasa ( nose ornament ) is worn on the nose . Above which pure pearl hangs . The grace of the earring in ears is unique and its aura is reflected on the cheeks .
32. करण फूल छे अति घणुं ऊचुं , राती नीली चुनी सार |
निरखी निरखी जीव निरांते , मांहें मोतीडा करे झलकार ||
कानों में कर्णफूल अत्यन्त अमूल्य और उच्चकोटि के हैं | उनमें प्रवाल और नीलम के नगों की उत्तम छोटी -छोटी कणिकाएँ जड़ी हुई हैं | उनमें स्थित मोतियों की चमक अत्यन्त कमनीय है | इस शोभा और सुन्दरता को देखकर जीव को परम् शान्ति मिलती है |
Earrings in the ear are extremely priceless and of high quality . In them , the best small granules of the coral and sapphire gem are studded . The lustre of the pearls in them is extremely pretty . Seeing this grace and beauty the soul (creature) gets the ultimate peace .
33. खीटलडी वालाजी केरी , जीव करे जोयानी खांत |
माणक मोती हीरा पुखराज , कुंदन मांहें जडिया भांत ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण जी के कानों के पृष्ठ भागों में और कानों के मध्य भाग में खिटलड़ी नाम का आभूषण पहना हुआ है , जिसे देखने की इच्छा सदैव रहा करती है | उसमें माणिक्य , मोती , हीरा , पुखराज आदि नग सोने में युक्तिपूर्वक जड़े हुए हैं |
In the back part of the ear and in the middle part of the ear , beloved Shri Krishna ji is wearing ornament named khitldi , and a wish is always there to see it . In it ruby , pearl , diamond and topaz etc. gems are tactfully studded in gold .
34. आंखडली अणियाली सोभे , मध्य रेखा छे लाल |
निरखत नयण कोडामणां , जीवने ताणी ग्रहे ततकाल ||
आँखें अत्यन्त सुन्दर और नुकीली होने के कारण शोभा दे रही हैं | इन आखों में लाल रेखाएँ हैं | ये मनोहर नयन तत्क्षण मेरे जीवको अपनी ओर आकर्षित कर लेते हैं |
Eyes being extremely beautiful and sharp are graceful . These eyes have red lines . These charming eyes instantly attracts my creature (soul) .
35. मीठी पांपण चलवे एक भांते , तारे तेज अपार |
बेहुगमां भ्रकुटीनी सोभा , इन्द्रावती निरखे करार ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण पलकें खोलकर जब कटाक्ष करते हैं तो उनके नयन युगल से अपार तेज निकलता है | आँखों की दोनों भौहों की शोभा देखकर इन्द्रावती परम आनन्द का अनुभव करती है |
Beloved Shri Krishna , when opening the eyelids , do the sarcasm , then immense glow (lustre / light) comes out of both eyes . Indravati experiences bliss by seeing the beauty of both eyebrows .
36. निलवट सोभे तिलकनी रेखा , नीली पीली गुलाल |
बेहुगमां सुन्दर ने सोभे , रेखा मध्य बिंदका लाल ||
ललाट में तिलक की रेखा शोभायमान है | यह नीले , पीले और गुलाल रंगों से बनी हुई है | यह नासिका के दोनों तरफ की शोभा में अभिवृद्धि करती है | इस रेखा के बीच में लाल बिन्दी रचाई गई है |
Line of auspicious ritualistic mark (tilak) in forehead is stunning. It is made with blue , yellow and red colours . This enhance the beauty on both sides of the nose . A red dot (bindi) is drawn in the middle of this line .
37. मस्तक मुकट सोहामणो , कांई ए सोभा अति जोर |
लाल रेत ने नीली पीली , दोरी सोभित चारे कोर ||
मस्तक पर सुन्दर मुकुट शोभायमान है | उसकी शोभा अनुपम है | उस मुकुट में चारों ओर लाल , सफेद , नीले तथा पीले रंग की डोरियाँ सुशोभित हैं|
The beautiful crown on the forehead is stunning . Its beauty is unique . The crown is adorned with red , white , blue and yellow coloured chords on all sides .
38. ए ऊपर जब दाणानी सोभा , एह जुगत अद्भत |
ते ऊपर वली फूलोनी जडतर , तेना केम करी वरणवुं रूप ||
मुकुट के किनार पर जौ के दाने जैसी नक्काशी शोभायमान हैं , इसके निर्माण का चातुर्य भी अद्भत है | इसके ऊपर फूल भी जड़े हुए हैं | इसके रूप और आकार की शोभा का वर्णन मैं किस प्रकार कँरु ?
The carving like barley grain on the edge of the crown is stunning . The tact (cleverness) of its construction is also amazing . Flowers are also set on top of it . How to describe , the beauty of its form and shape ?
39. बीजा अनेक विधना फूल दोरी बंध , करे जुजवी जुगत झलकार |
माणक मोती हीरा पुखराज , पिरोजा पाना पांचो सार ||
मुकुट के ऊपर विविध प्रकार की पुष्पलताएँ पंक्तिबद्ध हैं | वे अद्भत ढंग से झिलमिलाती हुई प्रकाश देती हैं | यह प्रकाश माणिक्य, मोती, हीरा, पुखराज , पिरोजा , पन्ना तथा पाच इन श्रेष्ठ नगों की मिश्रित शोभा से युक्त है |
A variety of floral rows are tied above the crown . They amazingly give a shimmering light . This light is mixed with the beauty of the best gems of ruby , pearl , diamond , topaz , turquoise , emerald and panchaloha (panch - an alloy of gold , silver , copper , zinc and iron ).
40. लाल लसणियां नीलवी गोमदिक , साढ सोलुं कंचन |
फूल पंखडियों मणि जवेरनी , मध्य जडया छे रतन ||
लाल , लसनियाँ , नीलम , गोमेद , आदि नग सोलह बार तपाकर शुद्ध किए गए सुवर्ण (कंचन ) में जड़े हुए हैं | फूल और पंखुड़ियाँ मणि और जवाहरात से बनाए हुए हैं और उनके बीच में रत्न के नग जड़े हुए हैं |
Variety of gems such as red coral , cat's eye , sapphire , onyx are studded in pure gold which has been purified after being heated sixteen times . Flowers and petals are made of gems and jewels and in between them pieces of gemstones are inlaid .
41. मुकट ऊपर ऊभी जवेरोनी हारो ,तेमां रंग दीसे अपार |
अनेक विधनी किरण ज ऊठे , ते तां ब्रह्मांड न माय झलकार ||
मुकुट के ऊपर जड़े हुए रत्नादि पंक्तिबद्ध खड़े हैं | उनमें अपरिमित रंग दिखाई देता हैं | इनमें भाँति -भाँति नगों से तेजपूर्ण किरणे निकलती हैं | उसका प्रकाश योगमाया के ब्रह्माण्ड में भी समाता नहीं है |
The jewels studded on the top of the crown are standing in a row . Infinite colours are visible in them . In these brightful rays emerge from different types of stones (jewels) . Their light cannot fit , even in this universe of yogmaya.
42. चार हारनां चारे फुमक , तेहना जुजवी जुगतना रंग |
लाखी लिबोई ने स्याम सेत , सूंदर ने ए सोभंत ||
प्रियतम के कंठ में चार हार शोभायमान हैं | उन चारों हारों के चार फुँदने लाल , केशरी , श्याम और श्वेत हैं , जो अनुपम शोभा दे रहे हैं |
Four necklaces are beautiful in the throat(neck) of the beloved . The four tassel of those four necklace are of red , saffron , black and white, that are gracious .
43. वेण गूंथी एक नवल भांतनी , गोफणडे विविध जडाव |
फरती फरती घूंघरी , ने बोलती रसाल ||
प्रियतम श्यामसुन्दर की केशराशि नूतन ढँग से गूँथी हुई है | इस वेणी के अन्तभाग के लटके हुए आभूषणों में विभिन्न प्रकार के नग जड़े हुए हैं | इन आभूषणों के चारों ओर घुंघरियाँ लगी हुई हैं , जो मधुर और रसीले स्वर से बोलती हैं |
The hair style of beloved shyam sunder has been woven in a novel way . Various types of gems are embedded in the hanging ornaments of the end of this braid . Small bells are tied around these ornaments , which make melodious (sweet and succulent (soulful)) tone .
44. गोफणडे फुमक जे दीसे , तेनो लाल कसबी रंग |
जडाव मांहें माणक ने मोती , पाना पुखराज नंग ||
उस आभूषण के साथ जो फूमक (फुँदने ) बँधे हैं , उनमें रंगों का वैविध्य है और उसका रंग लाल है | उसमें माणिक्य , मोती , पन्ना और पुखराज जैसे नग जड़ायमान हैं |
There is a variety of colours in the tassels that are tied to that ornament and its colour is red . Gems like ruby , pearl , emerald and topaz are studded (inert) in it .
45. वांसा ऊपर वेण लहेकती , सोभा ते वरणवी न जाय |
खुसबोए मांहें रंग भीनो , बीडी तंबोल मुख मांय ||
पीठ के ऊपर लहरा रही केश राशी की शोभा अद्वितीय है | उसका वर्णन नहीं हो सकता | वह एक विशेष प्रकार की सुगन्धि से भरी हुई है और मुखारविन्द में पान का बीड़ा है |
The beauty of the hairstyle that is swinging over the back is unique . It cannot be described . It is filled with a special kind of fragrance and there is seasoned and folded betel leaf in the mouth .
46. नवल वेश ल्याव्या एक भांतनो , कसवटिए वांसली लाल |
अधुर धरीने ज्यारे वेण वगाडे , त्यारे चितडां हरे ततकाल ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण ने आज नवीन वेश धारण किया है | उनकी कमर पर बँधी हुई पिछौरी में लाल वंशी लटकाई हुई है | जब वंशी को होठों से लगाकर बजाने लगते हैं तो तुरन्त ही वे हमारे चित्तको हर लेते हैं |
Today beloved Shri Krishna has taken a new attire (donned new clothes ) . The red flute is hanging in a band tied around his waist . When he starts playing flute on his lips , immediately our mind is mesmerized (fascinated).
47. वेण तणी विगत कहुं तमने , कोरे कांगरी जडाव |
मोहोवड नीला मध्य लाल , छेडे आसमानी रंग सोहाय ||
वंशी का वर्णन अब मैं आपके समक्ष कर रही हूँ | वंशी के किनारे पर काँगरी लगी हुई है | उसके मुख के पास नीलम, बीच में लाल और अन्त भाग में नीले रंग के नग लगे हुए हैं |
Now I am describing about flute to you . There is decorative lace on the edge of the flute . Sapphire near its mouth , red in the middle and blue stones (gems) are attached in the end .
48. वस्तर वरणव्यां सब्द मांहें सखियो , वली वरणवी भूषणनी भांत |
रेसम हेम कह्यां में जवेरनां , पण ए छे वसेक कोय धात ||
हे सखियों !मैंने प्रियतम के वस्त्रों का वर्णन अपने शब्दों में किया है | तदुपरान्त आभूषणों का वर्णन भी विविध प्रकार से किया | रेशम , सुवर्ण और जवाहरात की जिन उपमाओंका मैंने उपयोग किया है वे इन सांसारिक वस्तुओं के लिए ही उपयुक्त शब्द हैं | वास्तव में वह तो एक विशिष्ट प्रकार का अपूर्व धातु है |
Oh friends ! I have described the clothes of beloved in my own words . And thereafter described ornaments ( jewellery) in various ways . The analogous (similes /comparison) of silk , gold and jewels (gems) that I have used are the only appropriate words for these worldly things . In fact it is a special kind of unique metal .
49. सज थयां सिणगार करीने , रास रमवानुं मन मांय |
साथ सकल मारा पीउ पासे आव्यो , इन्द्रावती लागे पाय ||
शृंगार धारण कर सखियाँ तैयार हो गई | उनके मन में रास रमण की तीव्र उत्कण्ठा है | समस्त सखियाँ मेरे धामधनी के पास आई , अब वे इन्द्रावती प्रियतम के चरणों में दण्डवत प्रणाम करती है |
Wearing makeup (ornamentation) friends (sakhi) are ready . There is a strong yearning for dance of divine love (raas) in their mind . All friends (sakhi)came to my lord (dhamdhani) , now they bow down at the feet of the beloved Indravati .
50. दई प्रदखिणा अति घणी , साथे कीधां दंडवत परणाम |
हवे करसुं रामत रंग तणी , अने भाजसुं हैडानी हाम ||
प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण की अनेक परिक्रमाएँ करने के बाद सुन्दरसाथ ने दण्डवत प्रणाम किया और कहने लगे कि अब आनंद पूर्वक रंगीली रामतें खेलेंगे और हृदय में आनंद की लहरें उछालकर अभिलाषाओं को पूर्ण करेंगे |
After many circumambulation , around Shri Krishna , companions (sundersath) bowed down and started saying that now we will happily play colourful games and by raising the waves of joy in the heart will fulfill the desires .
