1. उमंगे उदयो साथ , रंगे तो रमवा रास | 

    रासमां करूं विलास , सखियो सुख लेत री || 

     इन्द्रावती कहती है , आनन्द पूर्वक रास लीला करते हुए सबके हृदय में ऐसा उत्साह भी जागृत हुआ कि रासलीला के साथ - साथ विलास भी करे | (श्री कृष्ण जी ने कृपा की और वे सबके साथ अनेक स्वरूप लेकर खेलने लगे) | इस प्रकार सखियाँ श्री कृष्ण जी के साथ अखण्ड सुख प्राप्त करती हैं | 

      Indravati says , that while doing the joyous dance of divine love in everyone's heart such enthusiasm also aroused that along with dance of divine love they should also do pleasurable amusement (Shri Krishna ji graced them and he by taking many forms started playing with them ) . This way friends received seamless happiness with Shri Krishna . 

2. भोमनी किरण भली , आकासे जईने मली | 

    चांदलो न जाय टली , उजलीसी रेत री || 

     नूरमय रास भूमि की प्रकाशमयी किरणें अत्यन्त तेजस्वी हैं तथा भूमि से उठकर आकाश में जा मिलती हैं | आकाश में उदित चन्द्रमा भी मानों स्थिर हो गया है और वहाँ की रेत के एक एक कण भी प्रकाश से जगमगा रहे हैं | 

     Lighted rays of glittered land of dance of divine love are very majestic and they rise above from land and meet the sky . It seems that moon risen in the sky has become steady and every single particle of sand there is also shinning with light . 

3. रुत निस नवो सस ,दीसे सहु एक रस | 

    प्रकासियो दसो दिस , न कहेवाय संकेत री || 

    इस रास मण्डल में शरद ऋतु , रात्रि तथा नूतन चन्द्र ये सब एकाकार हो गए हैं | नूरमय प्रकाश के कारण दसों दिशाएँ प्रकाशमान हो गई हैं | इसकी उपमा किसी भी संकेत के द्वारा नहीं दी जा सकती | 

    In this region ( mandal) f dance of divine love autumn season , night and new moon have become one . Because of glittering light all ten directions have been lighted . It's comparison can't be given by any sign . 

4. सुं कहुं वननी जोत , पत्र फूल झलहलोत | 

     वृंदावन उदोत , सामग्री समेत री || 

    अखण्ड वृन्दावन के प्रकाश की तेजस्विता के विषय में क्या कहना ? पत्ते , फूल , फल ये सभी जगमगा रहे हैं | वृन्दावन की सभी वस्तुएँ प्रकाश से चमक रही हैं | 

       What can be said about the radiant light of seamless Vrindavan? Leaves , flowers , fruits all are sparkling . All items of Vrindavan are shinning with light . 

5. पसु पंखी अनेक नाम , तेनां वचित्र चित्राम | 

    निरखतां न भाजे हाम , जुजवी जुगत री || 

    इस वृन्दावन में विभिन्न प्रकार के पशु - पक्षी हैं | इन पशुओं के अंगों पर पक्षिओं के पंखों पर विविध प्रकार की चित्रकारी अंकित है | इन्हें अलग - अलग कोणों से देखने पर भी मन नहीं भरता है | 

There are different kinds of animals and birds in this Vrindavan . There is various types of painting endorsed on body of these animals, feathers of birds . Doesn't feel satisfied even looking at them from different angles . 

6. रमतां भूषण किरण , ब्रह्मांड लाग्यो फिरण | 

    सखियो उलासी तन , कमल विकसेत री || 

    रामत के समय सखियों के आभूषणों से निकलती हुई किरणें समग्र ब्रह्माण्ड को प्रकाशमान बना रही हैं | जिससे ऐसा प्रतीत होता है कि मानों ब्रह्माण्ड ही घूम रहा है | सखियों के आनन्दित मन और शरीर ऐसे उन्मत्त हो गए हैं कि मानों हृदय रुपी सरोवर में कमल खिले हुए हैं | 

     Rays coming out of jewellery of friends during dance of divine love are making entire universe radiant . Due to which it seems universe is revolving . Overjoyed mind and body of friends have become frenzy as if lotus have bloomed in the lake of heart . 

7. एणी पेरे करूं रामत , मनडां थया महामत |

     खंत खरी लागी चित , वालाजीसुं हेत री || 

   इन्द्रावती कहती है , इस प्रकार प्रियतम के साथ रामत करते - करते मेरा मन महा मस्ती से झूम उठा | इतना ही नहीं पुन: इस रामत को रचाने की तीव्र इच्छा मन में लगी हुई है और इसमें प्रियतम के प्रति प्रेम और स्नेह की  सच्ची लगन जुड़ी हुई है | 

     Indravati says , in this way playing game of love along with the beloved my mind is dancing with great joy . Not only this but big desire is in the mind to create again this game of love and for beloved there is true passion attached of true love and affection . 

8. प्रेमना प्रघल पूर , सूरो मांहें अति सूर | 

    पिए रस मेली अधुर , सघली सुचेत री || 

     सखियों के हृदय में प्रेम का प्रचण्ड प्रवाह उमड़ रहा है | वीरोचित भाव से इन्द्रावती सखी सभी सखियों में अग्रणी है | अधर के साथ अधर मिलाकर रसामृत का पान का रही है | सब सखियाँ सावधान और सचेत हैं |  

     In the hearts of friends massive flow of love is over flowing . Friend Indravati is the leader among all friends in heroic spirit . Joining lips with lips she is drinking juice of nectar . All friends are careful and alert . 

9. इन्द्रावती करे रंग , रामत न करे भंग | 

     रमती फरती वाला संग , छबके चुमन देत री || 

    इन्द्रावती प्रियतम के साथ आनन्द विहार कर रही है | खेलते समय लीला भंग होने नहीं देती | प्रियतम के साथ घूमते समय उछलती हुई चतुराई से उन्हें चुंबन देती है | 

      Indravati is happily having fun with beloved . She does not allow disruption in game while playing . While roaming along with the beloved , with a jump and cleverly gives him a kiss .

1. रामत करतालीनी रे , एमां छे वलाका विसमां | 

    बेसवुं उठवुं फरवुं रमवुं , ताली लेवा साम सामां || 

    हे सखियो ! यह रामत परस्पर हाथ की ताली देकर खेलने की है | इसमें कठिन एवं विशेष दावँ हैं | इसके अतिरिक्त बैठना , उठना , गोल - गोल घूमना और दावँ लेते - लेते एक दूसरे को ताली देते जाना होता है | 

    O friends ! This game of love is playing by giving clap to each other . This has difficult and special bet . Beside this has to give and clap with each other while sitting , getting up , going round and round and during bet .  

2. तम सामी अमे ऊभा रहीने , हाथ ताली एम लेसुं | 

    बेसतां उठतां फरतां , सामी ताली देसुं || 

     आपके समक्ष खड़ी रहकर मैं विभिन्न प्रकार से हाथ की ताली लेती रहूँगी| उठते , बैठते और घूमते समय सामने भी ताली दूँगी | 

      While standing in front of you I in various ways will keep taking claps from you . While getting up , sitting and while going round I will be giving clap to you also from front .  

3. बेसतां ताली दईने बेसिए , उठतां लीजे ताली | 

     फरतां ताली दई करीने , वचे रामत कीजे रसाली || 

     बैठते समय ताली देकर बैठना और उठते समय भी ताली देकर उठना | गोल घूमते समय भी ताली देकर घूमना इस प्रकार बीच - बीच में रसपूर्ण रामत खेलते जाना है | 

      While going to sit give clap , sit and while getting up also give clap , get up . Also while going to take round give clap then go round. In this way in between playing the joyous game of love . 

4. रामत करतां अंग सहु वालिए , सकोमल जोड सोभंत | 

    अंग वाली वचे रंग रस लीजे , भंग न कीजे रामत || 

    इस रामत को खेलते समय अंगों को अच्छी तरह मोड़ों ताकि लचकते समय कोमल अंगों की शोभा अनुपम बन जाए | इस प्रकार अंग मोड़ते समय बीच - बीच में प्रेम का  आनन्द लेते जाना और यह भी देखना कि रामत में कहीं विक्षेप (भंग ) न पड़े ? 

     While playing this game of love fold your body parts properly so that lustre of soft parts become unique while flexing . In this way in between at the time of folding your parts enjoy the love and also keep looking that no distraction comes in between the game of love? 

5. ए रामतडी जोई करीने , सहु साथने वाध्यो उमंग | 

     सहु कोई कहे अमे एणी पेरे , रमसुं वालाजीने संग || 

     इस रामत की विशेषता देकर सब सखियों के मन में उत्साह बढ़ा |  इसके बाद सब सखियाँ कहने लगी , हम भी प्रियतम के साथ इस प्रकार रामत खेलने का आनन्द लेंगी | 

      Seeing the importance of this game of love there was increase in enthusiasm in the minds of all friends . After this all friends started saying , we also want to get the pleasure in playing this type of game of love with the beloved .

6. साथ कहे वाला रमो अमसुं , ए रामत सहु मन भावी | 

    सहुना मनोरथ पूरण करवा , सखी सखी प्रते लेओ रंग आवी || 

     सखियाँ कहती हैं , हे प्रियतम ! अब आप हमारे साथ खेलें | इस रामत ने सभी सखियों का मन मोहित कर  लिया है | इसलिए सब की मनोकामना पूरी करने के लिए आप प्रत्येक सखियों से आकर आनन्द लें | 

     Friends say , O beloved ! Now you play with us . This game of love has attracted the minds of all friends . Therefore to fulfill everyone's desire you come and get enjoyment with each friend . 

7. हाथ ताली रमे छे वालो , सघलीसुं सनेह | 

   रंगे रमाडे रासमां , वालो धरी ते जुजवा देह || 

    हाथ से ताली देकर प्रियतम सब सखियों के साथ प्रेमपूर्वक रामत करते हैं| और अनेक स्वरूप धारण कर प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण जी आनन्द के साथ सब को रास में निमग्न कर देते हैं | 

     Beloved lovingly plays this game of love by giving clap to all friends . And beloved Shri Krishna by taking many forms immersed everyone in the dance of divine love with joy . 

8. कहे इन्द्रावती ए रामतडी , मारा वालाजी थै अति सारी | 

    सघली संगे रमियां रंगे , एक पीउ एक नारी || 

     इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे प्रियतम ! यह रामत तो बहुत ही अच्छी हुई क्योंकि आपने सब सखियों के साथ अलग - अलग स्वरूप धारण कर सब को आनन्द पूर्वक खेलाया | 

      Indravati says , O beloved ! This game of love was done in good because you took separate forms with every friend and made everyone enjoy the game .

1. रामत गढ तणी रे , हाथ मांहें हाथ दीजे | 

    बल करीने सहु ग्रहजो बांहोंडी , तो रामत रस लीजे || 

    इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे सखियों ! अब हम गढ की रामत खेलें | एक दूसरे के हाथ पकड़ कर एक घेरा बना लें | हाथ अच्छी तरह से पकड़े ताकि इस रामत का रस पूर्वक आनन्द ले सके | 

    Indravati says , O friends ! Now let us play the game of fort . Make a circle by holding hands of each other . Hold hands properly so that we can enjoy the pleasure of this game to the fullest . 

2. प्रथम पाधरुं कहुं रे सखियो , ए रामत छे मदमाती | 

    दोडी न सके तेणी बांहोडी न छुटे , ते आवसे पाछल घसडाती || 

   हे सखियों ! पहले ही स्पष्ट बता दूँ कि यह गढ़ की रामत अतीव मस्त है |      ( प्रेम में लीन होकर ही खेली जा सकती है ) यदि कोई दौड़ने में असमर्थ हो तो भी हाथ नहीं छोड़ना | अन्यथा वह भी घिसटती हुई पीछे - पीछे चली आएगी | 

    O friends ! In the beginning , let me tell clearly that this game of fort is very delightful (cool / easy going ) ( can play only while immersed in love ) don't leave your hand even if someone is unable to run . Otherwise she will also come dragged  behind . 

3. ते माटे बंध बांहों खरो ग्रही , करजो जो रमां जोर | 

    पछे दोडसो त्यारे नहीं रे कहेवाय , थासे अति घणो सोर || 

    इसलिए हाथ के बन्धन ठीक से बाँध लेना और फिर ज्यादा से ज्यादा  जोर लगाना | दौड़ते समय बहुत ही शोर होगा | उस समय किसी भी प्रकार की सूचना सुन नहीं सकोगी | 

     Therefore tie your hands properly and then apply maximum force. There will be lots of noise while running . Will not be able to listen to any kind of information at that time . 

4. पहेली चाल चालो कीडीनी , हलवे पगलां भरजो | 

     पछे वली कांइक अधकेरां , वधतां वधतां वधजो || 

    सर्व प्रथम चींटी की चाल चलो अर्थात धीरे धीरे कदम रखो | पश्चात धीरे - धीरे कदम बढ़ाते जाओ | इस प्रकार अपनी गति को बढ़ाते हुए आगे बढ़ो | 

     First you walk like an ant meaning keep steps slowly . Thereafter slowly increase your steps . This way by increasing your speed move forward . 

5. वली कांइक व्रध पामतां , मचकासुं महालजो | 

    हजी लगे आकला म थाजो , लडसडती चाल चालजो || 

    पुनः अपनी गति बढ़ाते हुए मचलते हुए चलना |  साथ ही गति बढ़ाते हुए व्याकुल भी मत होना और मदमस्त चाल से आगे बढ़ती चली जाना | 

     Walk with naughtiness while increasing your speed again . With increasing speed don't become anxious and keep moving forward with a frolic walk . 

6. हवे कांइक पग भरजो प्रगट , सावचेत सहु थाजो | 

    साथ सकल तमे आप संभाली , मुखडे पुकारीने गाजो || 

    अब कुछ प्रत्यक्ष कदम बढ़ाओ और सब कोई सावधान हो जाओ | स्वयं को संभालते हुए सावधान होकर आगे बढ़ते हुए रामत का गीत गाना शुरू करो | 

      Now take some evident ( clear ) steps forward and everyone should become attentive . While handling self and being attentive moving forward start singing song of game of love . 

7. लटके चटके छटके दोडजो , रखे पग पाछां देतां | 

     हांसी छे घणी ए रामतमां , दोड तणो रस लेतां || 

     गति बढ़ाकर विविध चाल चलकर ( लटक , मटककर ) दौड़ना आरम्भ करदो | पीछे मत रहना | याद रखना , इस रामत में दौड़ का आनन्द लेते समय यदि लड़खड़ा गए तो बड़ी हँसी होगी | 

     Increase speed and start running with various moves ( playfully and flirtatiously ) . Don't be behind . Remember that while enjoying happiness of this run in this game of love if you stumble then it will be a big laugh .  

8. कहे  इन्द्रावती ए रामतडी , मारा वालाजी थै अति सारी | 

     दोड करतां तमे पाछुं नव जोयुं , अमे बांहोंडी न मूकी तमारी || 

     इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे प्रियतम ! यह रामत तो बहुत ही अच्छी हुई | दौड़ते समय आपने पीछे मुड़कर भी नहीं देखा और हमने भी इस स्पर्धा में आपका हाथ नहीं छोड़ा | 

    Indravati says , O beloved ! this game of love was done in good . While running you didn't looked behind and in this competition we also didn't leave your hand .

1. आज  राज पूरण काज , मन मनोरथ सुन्दरी | 

     मन मनोरथ सुन्दरी , सखी मन मनोरथ सुन्दरी || 

     हे सखियो ! आज श्री राज जी ( श्री कृष्ण जी ) हमारे सभी कार्य पूरे करेंगे | आज हमारी मनोकामनाएँ पूरी होगी | 

     O friends ! Today Shri Raj ji ( Shri Krishna ji ) will complete all our work . Today all our wishes will be fulfilled . 

2. विध विधना विलास , मगन सकल साथ | 

    मरकलडे करे हांस ,रेहेस रामत विस्तरी || 

    विभिन्न प्रकार के आनन्द और हास्य विनोद के वातावरण में समस्त सखियाँ मग्न हो गई हैं | इस प्रकार मन्द - मन्द मुस्कराते हुए , हँसते हुए रहस्यमय  रामतों का विस्तरण कर रहें हैं | 

      All the friends are engrossed in the atmosphere full of various types of  happiness , laughter , joy and humour . In this way , softly smiling and laughing , they are spreading the mysterious games of love . 

3. कह्यो न जाय आनंद , अंग न माय उमंग | 

    विकासियां अमारा मन , रहियो सरवे हरवरी || 

    उन रामतों के आनंद का वर्णन नहीं हो सकता है | हमारे अंगों में भी उत्साह और उल्लास नहीं समाता है | हमारा मन कमल की भाँति विकसित हो उठा है | सब सखियाँ उन्मत्त और आतुरता से अधीर हो गई हैं | 

    The joy of those games of love cannot be described . Even in our body parts cannot contain enthusiasm and excitement . Our mind has developed like a lotus . All the friends have become impatient with frenzy and eagerness . 

4. आ समेनुं वृंदावन , जुओ रे आ सोभा चंद | 

     फूलडे अनेक रंग , रमे साथ परवरी || 

     इस समय का वृन्दावन और चन्द्रमा की शोभा को तो देखो | वृन्दावन में अनेक प्रकार के पुष्प खिले हुए हैं  तथा श्री कृष्ण अपनी आनन्द स्वरूपा सखियों के साथ शान्ति पूर्ण ढँग से रासलीला कर रहे हैं | 

    At this time look at the lustre of the Vrindavan and the moon . Different types of flowers have bloomed in Vrindavan and Shri Krishna along with his blissful friends is doing dance of divine love in a peaceful manner .

5. काबर कोयल स्वर , कपोत घूमे चकोर | 

    मृगला वांदर मोर , नाचत फेरी फेरी || 

    काबर (पक्षी विशेष ) और कोयल अपने -  अपने मधुर स्वरों में गान कर रहे हैं | कबूतर तथा चकोर मुखरित होकर  घूम रहे हैं | सखियों तथा प्रियतम की रामतों को देखकर मृग , बन्दर और मोर घूम - घूमकर नाच रहे हैं | 

     Common myna and cuckoo (koyal) are singing in their melodious chords . Pigeon and partridge (chakor ) are being vocal and roaming. Deer , monkey and peacock are dancing while roaming , after seeing the games of love between friends and the beloved . 

6. स्यामनां उलासी अंग , उलट अमारे संग | 

     मांहों मांहें मकरंद , व्यापियो विविध पेरी || 

     श्री कृष्ण के अंग - प्रत्यंग में आनन्द भरा हुआ है | वही उत्साह और आनन्द हमारे अन्दर भी है | प्रियतम तथा सखियों के पारस्परिक मन्द - मन्द हास्य की सुरभि चारों ओर विभिन्न रूपों में फैल रही है | 

     Joy is filled in all body parts of Shri Krishna . There is same enthusiasm and joy also inside us . The fragrance of mutual slow humour between beloved and friends is spreading all around in various forms . 

7. रामत करे कामनी , विलसतां वाधी जामनी | 

   सखी सखी प्रते स्याम घन , दिए सुख दया करी || 

    समस्त ब्रह्मात्माएँ श्री राज जी के साथ खेल रही हैं | इस दिव्य रास को देखकर रात्रि भी रुक गई हैं | प्रत्येक सखी के साथ श्री कृष्ण अलग - अलग रूप धारण कर उन्हें उपकृत कर रहे हैं | 

   All brahma souls are playing with Shri Raj ji . Night has also stopped after seeing this divine dance of love . Shri Krishna is obliging each friend by taking different forms . 

8. रमतां दिए चुमन , एक रस जुवती जन | 

     करी जुगत नौतन , चितडां लीधां हरी || 

     रामत करते हुए वे चुम्बन भी देते हैं | इस खेल में सब सखियाँ एकाकार हो गई हैं | प्रियतम ने नई नई युक्तियों से सखियों के चित्त चुरा लिए हैं | 

      Doing the dance of love they give kiss also . All the friends in this game have become one form only . Beloved has stolen the hearts (mind)  of friends with new tricks . 

9. कंठ बांहों वली वली , अनेक विधे रंग रली | 

     लिए अमृत मुख मेली , पिए रस भरी भरी || 

    एक दूसरे के गले में बाहें डाल - डालकर विभिन्न रीति से आनन्दित होती हुई सखियाँ मुख मिलाकर अमृतपान करती हैं और इस रस को भर - भरकर पीती है | 

     Putting their arms around the neck of each other and overjoyed in various ways friends drink the nectar by joining their mouths together and drink this juice to the fullest . 

10. रस घणो उपजावती , सखी मीठडे स्वर गावती | 

       नव नवा रंग ल्यावती , इन्द्रावती अंग धरी धरी | 

     इस प्रकार रामत में अनेक प्रकार के रस उत्पन्न कराती हैं | सब सखियाँ मधुर कण्ठ से गाती हैं तथा नए नए रंग लाती हैं | इन्द्रावती इन सब अखण्ड सुखों को अपने अंगों में धारण करती है | 

     This way in this game of love they make many types of juices to be produced . All friends sing from melodious throat and bring new new colours . Indravati upholds all this seamless happiness in her body parts .

    दोडी सको तेम दोडजो , जोइए अम आगल केम जाओ रे || 

     इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे प्रियतम ! अब भूल - भूलैया का खेल खेलें | आप हम से आगे हो जाएँ | जितना दौड़ सके उतना दौड़े | देखना है कि आप हम से आगे कैसे निकल सकते हैं ? 

     Indravati says , O beloved ! Let us know play the game of maze . You come ahead of us . Run as much as you can run . We want to see that how can you go head of us ? 

2. भूलवणीमां भूलवजो , देजो वलाका अपार | 

     भूलवी तमारी हुं नव भूलुं , तो हुं इन्द्रावती नार || 

    भूल - भूलैया के इस खेल में आप हमें चाहे जितना भूलाएँ , चककर काटें और दाँव दे | फिर भी यदि आप को मैं नहीं भूलूँगी तभी आप की अर्द्धांगना इन्द्रावती कहलाने योग्य बनूँगी | 

    In this game of maze as much as you forget us , roam around  and bet . Even then if I don't forget you then only I  Indravati will be made able to be called your better - half .

3. जुओ रे सखियो वाले भूलवी मुने , पण हुं केमे नव टली | 

    अनेक वलाका दीधां मारे वाले , तो हुं मली ने मली || 

    देखो सखियों ! प्रियतम धनी ने मुझे कई प्रकार से भूलावे में डालने का प्रयास किया किन्तु मैं उनसे अलग नहीं हुई | उन्होंने अनेक दाँव - पेच खेलकर  चककर कटवाकर मुझे भूलावे में डालने का प्रयत्न किया फिर भी मैं उनके पीछे लगी ही रही | 

     Look friends ! Beloved lord tried to mislead me in many ways but I was not separated from him . By playing various tricks and making me move around he tried to mislead me , still I was always following him . 

4. रहो रहो रे वाला मारे वासे थाओ ,हुं तम आगल थाऊं | 

    साची तो जो भूलवुं तमने , मारा साथ सहुने हंसावुं || 

     हे प्रियतम ! आप रुकें और मेरे पीछे हो जाएँ , अब मैं आप के आगे दौड़ती हूँ | यदि मैं आप को भूलावे में डाल दूँ तभी सच्ची अर्धांगिनी मानी जाऊँगी और आप को भूलावे में डालकर मैं मेरी सखियों को हँसाऊँगी | 

O beloved ! You wait and follow me , now I will run ahead of you . If I am able to confuse you only then will I be considered as a true better - half and by confusing you I will make my friends laugh . 

5. सखियो तमे सावचेत थाजो , रखे कोई मूकतां हाथ रे | 

     हवडा हरावुं मारा वालाजीने, जो जो तमे सहु साथ रे || 

     हे सखियों ! तुम सब सावधान हो जाओ | एक दूसरे का हाथ नहीं छोड़ना | देखना मैं अभी प्रियतम को हरा देती हूँ | 

     O friends ! You all become attentive . Don't leave hands of each other . Look I will defeat beloved now . 

6. भूलीस मा रे वचिखिण वाला , आवी मारे वासे वलगो | 

    अनेक वलाका जो हुं दऊं , पण तुं म थाइस अलगो || 

     हे मेरे विचक्षण स्वामी ! आप भूलना नहीं | अब मेरे पीछे हो जाइए | यदि मैं अनेक दाँव लगाऊँ तो भी आप मुझ से अलग नहीं होना | 

    O my sagacious (clever) lord ! You do not forget . Now follow me. Even if I give many bets then to you should not separate from me . 

7. एक वलाका मांहें रे सखियो , वालो भूल्या ते प्रथम मूल | 

    दिए सखी ताली पडी आलोटे , हंसी हंसी आवे पेट सूल || 

    हे सखियों ! मेरे एक ही दाँव में प्रियतम पहली बार ही भूल गए | इसे देखकर सखियाँ तालियाँ बजाकर हँसने लगी और हँसते - हँसते गिर गई | वे इतनी हँसी कि पेट में दर्द होने लगा | 

    O friends ! On my one bet at the first time , beloved forgot . Seeing this friends started laughing after clapping and fell down while laughing . They laughed so much that they started having pain in stomach . 

8. सहु साथ मलीने साबत कीधुं , इन्द्रावती विविध विसेक | 

    धणी थै रामत ने वली थासे , पीउ भूलवतां राखी रेख || 

    सब सखियों ने मिलकर प्रमाणित किया कि इस रामत में इन्द्रावती अधिक चतुर है | ऐसी रामतें बहुत हुई और आगे भी होगी किन्तु इसमें इन्द्रावती ने श्री कृष्ण को भूलावे में डालकर अपने वचन पूर्ण किए | 

     Together all friends certified that in this game of love Indravati is more clever . There were many such games played earlier and will be played in future but in this Indravati fulfilled her promise by confusing Shri Krishna .

1. ओरो आव वाला आपण फूदडी फरिये , फरिए ते फेर अपार | 

     फरतां फरतां जो फेर आवे , तो बांहोंडी म मूकसो आधार || 

    इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे प्रियतम धनी ! आप हमारे पास आएँ | हम दोनों फूदड़ी की रामत खेलें | खेलते हुए यदि आप को चककर आने लगे तो भी आप मेरी बाँह मत छोड़ना | 

     Indravati says , O beloved lord ! You come near me . Let us both play the game of spin . If while playing you feel dizzy then too do not leave my arm . 

2. बाहोंडी मूकसो तो अडवडसुं , त्यारे हांसी करसे सहु साथ | 

     ते माटे बल करीने रमजो , फरतां न मूकवो हाथ || 

    यदि आप हाथ छोड़ देगें तो हम दोनों लड़खड़ाकर गिर पड़ेंगे और सखियाँ उपहास करेंगी | इसलिए उत्साह के साथ खेलें और घूमते हुए हाथ न छोड़ें | 

     If you let go your hand , both of us will stumble and fall and your friends will ridicule (make fun ) . So play with enthusiasm and don't leave your hand while spinning . 

3. तमे तो वालाजी फूदडी फरो छो , पण फरो छो आप अंग राखी | 

   ए रामतडी करतां मारा वालैया , फरिए पाछां अंग नाखी || 

     हे प्रियतम ! आप फिरकी ( फूदड़ी ) खेलते हैं  तो अपने अंगो को बचाए रखते हैं किन्तु इस रामत में तो शरीर की चिन्ता  किए बिना घूमना चाहिए | 

     O beloved ! When you are playing the spinning game you keep your parts of body safe but in this game one should spin without worrying about the body . 

4. जुओ रे सखियो तमे आ जोड फरतां , रामत कर घणे बल | 

    इन्द्रावतीनां तमे अंगडां जो जो , मारा वालाजीसुं फरे केवे बल || 

    हे सखियों ! फूदड़ी रामत खेलते हुए मेरी (इन्द्रावती ) और प्रियतम की युगल जोड़ी को देखो | मैं ( इन्द्रावती) किस प्रकार आवेश में आकर घूम रही हूँ | आप सभी मेरे ( इन्द्रावती के ) अंगों को देखे कि मैं अपने प्रियतम के साथ कैसे सुन्दर ढंग से घूम रही हूँ | 

     O friends ! Look at the pair of beloved and me ( Indravati ) while playing the game of spin . How I ( Indravati ) is spinning in passion. You all look at my ( Indravati ) body parts that how I am spinning beautifully along with my beloved . 

5. जुओ रे सखियो एम गातां फरतां , वालाजीने दऊं चुमन | 

    भंग न करूं फेर फूदडी केरो , तो देजो स्याबासी सहु जन || 

    हे सखियों ! इस प्रकार घूमते - फिरते , गीत गाते हुए यदि में वाला जी को चूम  लूँ  और रामत में विघ्न पड़ने न दूँ तो तुम सभी मिलकर मुझे साधुवाद देना | 

     O friends ! This way while roaming around , singing songs if I kiss my lord and do not disturb the game then you all together thank me . 

6. फरतां फूदडी लीधी कंठ बांहोंडी , वली फरे छे तेमनां तेम | 

    दई चुमन ने थया जुजवा , वली फरे ते फरतां जेम || 

    इस प्रकार कहकर इन्द्रावती सखी गोल - गोल घूमती हुई प्रियतम के गले में बाँह डालकर चककर लगा रही है | तत्पश्चात प्रियतम को चूम कर उनसे अलग होकर पुनः फिरकी करने लगती है | 

     After having said this friend Indravati while going round and round  in circles , and put her arms around the neck of the beloved and is taking circle . She starts to spin again after kissing the beloved and getting separated from him .

7. एम अंग वालीने रमजो रे सखियो , तो कहुं तमने स्या | 

    एम लटके रंग लेजो वचमां , तो हुं तमारडी दास || 

    इन्द्रावती पुनः सखियों से कहती है , इस प्रकार तुम भी अपने अंगों को झुकाकर इस फिरकी की रामत में घुमाओगी तो मैं तुम्हारी प्रशंसा करुँगी और बीच - बीच में मटकते हुए मेरे जैसा आनन्द लेने में यदि तुम सफल हो जाओ तो मैं तुम्हारी दासी बन जाऊँगी | 

     Indravati again says to her friends if like this you too tilt your body parts then spin in this game of spin then I will appreciate you and in between with swag you are able to enjoy like me then I will become your maid . 

8. हुं तो साचुं कहुं रे सखियो , तमने तो कांईक मरजाद | 

    साचुं कहे अने प्रगट रमे , इन्द्रावती न राखे लाज || 

    मैं तो सत्य कह रही हूँ , हे सखियों ! तुम संकोच कर रही हो , किन्तु सत्य कहने में तथा प्रत्यक्ष रूप से खेलने में इन्द्रावती तो लज्जा का अनुभव नहीं करती है | 

    I am telling the truth , O friends ! You are being hesitant but to tell the truth and to play the game directly Indravati does not feel shy .

1. सखी व्रषभान नंदनी , कंठ कर क्रस्ननी | 

   जोड एक अंगनी , रमती रंगे रास री || 

   इन्द्रावती कहती है , हे सखियो ! वृषभान - नन्दिनी श्री राधा जी श्री कृष्ण के गले में बाँहें डाले एकांगी होकर रस पूर्ण रास क्रीड़ा कर रही हैं | 

   Indravati says , O friends ! daughter of Vrishabhan - Nandni Shri Radha ji is playing  one - sided delightful  game of love with her arms around the neck of Shri Krishna . 

2. स्याम स्यामाजी जोड सुचंगी , जुओ सकल सुन्दरी | 

    सोभा मुखारविंदनी , करे मांहों मांहे हांस री || 

    हे ब्रह्मप्रियाओ ! तुम सभी एकत्रित होकर ध्यान पूर्वक देखो | स्याम स्यामाजी का युगल स्वरूप कितना सुन्दर है ? जब वे दोनों परस्पर हास्य - विनोद करते हैं तो उनके मुखारविन्द की शोभा अनुपम दिखाई देती है | 

     O friends of Brahma ! All of you gather together and watch carefully . How beautiful is the couple form of Shyam Shayama ji ? When both of them joke with each other , the beauty of their expressions is incomparable . 

3. भूषण लटके भामनी , कांई तेज करण कामनी | 

     संग जोड स्यामनी , वनमां करे विलास री || 

      भामिनी ( श्री श्यामा जी  ) के आभूषण लटक रहे हैं | उनमें से ज्योति भी निकल रही है | श्री श्यामाजी श्री कृष्ण के साथ वन में विलास कर रही हैं | 

      The jewellery of beautiful lady Shri Shayamaji is hanging . Light is also coming out of them . Shri Shayamaji is enjoying in the forest with Shri Krishna . 

4. पांउ भरे एक भांतसुं , रमती रंगे खांतसुं | 

    जुओ सखी जोड कान्हसुं , कांई सुन्दरी सकला परी || 

     दोनों एक साथ डग भरते हुए प्रेमपूर्वक क्रीड़ा कर रहे हैं | हे सखियों ! श्री कृष्ण और श्री श्यामाजी की जोड़ी तो देखो , यह जोड़ी कितनी सुन्दर दिखाई दे  रही हैं | 

     Both of them are playing lovingly while striding together . O friends ! Look at the pair of Shri Krishna and Shri Shayamaji , how beautiful this pair looks . 

5. फरती रमे फेरसुं , सुन्दरबाई घेरसुं | 

    हजार वार तेरसुं , आवी वालाजी पास री || 

    एक दूसरे के साथ रामत खेलती हुई सखियाँ प्रियतम एवं सुन्दरबाई को चारों ओर से घेर लेती हैं | खेल के इस रंग में डूबकर सुन्दरबाई बारह हजार सखियों को बुलाकर प्रियतम के साथ रामत खेलने आती है | 

    Friends playing game of love with each other surround the beloved and Sunderbai . Immersed in the colours of game (fully involved) , Sunderbai calls twelve thousand friends and comes to play game of love with the beloved . 

6. वल्लभे लीधी हाथसुं , सुन्दरबाई बाथसुं | 

     रामत करे निघातसुं , जोरे मूकावे हाथ री || 

     प्रियतम श्री कृष्ण ने सुन्दरबाई का हाथ पकड़ कर बाँहों में भर लिया और रामत खेलने लगे | परन्तु सखियों ने बल पूर्वक छुड़ा लिया | 

    Beloved Shri Krishna held Sunderbai's hand , hugged her and started playing the game of love . But friends freed her by force . 

7. बेहुगमां बे भामनी , वचे कान्ह कंठे कामनी | 

    कंठ बांहोंडी बंने स्यामनी , एम फरत प्राणनाथ री || 

    दो सखियों के मध्य में श्री कृष्ण हैं , उन्होंने उन दोनों के गले में बाँह डाली हुई है | उन दोनों सखियों की भुजाएँ भी श्री कृष्ण के गले में हैं | इस प्रकार प्राणनाथ ( श्री कृष्ण जी ) रामत करते हुए घूम रहे हैं |   

    Shri Krishna is in the middle of two friends , he has his arms around the neck of both of them . The arms of those two friends are also around the neck of Shri Krishna . In this way , Prannath ( Shri Krishna ji ) is roaming around while playing game of love . 

8. आखल पाखल सुन्दरी , केटलीक कंठे बांह धरी | 

     एक ठेकती फरती भमरी , एम रामत सकल साथ री || 

    

     ( श्री कृष्ण के ) चारों ओर सखियाँ हैं | उनमें - से कई सखियाँ एक दूसरे के गले में बाँहें डाले घूम रही हैं | इनमें कोई सखी छलाँग मारकर दूसरी सखी को पकड़ लेती है तो कोई गोल - गोल घूमती है | इस प्रकार सभी सखियाँ परस्पर रामत कर रही हैं | 

     ( Shri Krishna has) friends all around . Many of them are walking around with their arms around each other's neck . In these any friend jumps and catches the other friend , while some go round and round  in circles. In this way all the friends are playing the game of love with each other . 

9. झणके झण झांझरी , घुंघरी घमके मांझ री | 

    कडलां बाजे मांहें कांबीरी , बिछुडा स्वर मिलाप री || 

    नूपुर और काँबी की झनकार साथ ही साथ निकल रही है | अंगुलियों में पहनी हुई मुद्रिकाएँ भी उनके साथ अपना स्वर मिला रही हैं | सखियों के चरणों  पहने हुए आभूषण झाँझरी , घुँघरी की मधुर झंकार हो रही है | बीच - बीच में कड़े और कड़ियों की घुँघरू घमक रही हैं | 

      The jingle sound of anklet and string are coming out simultaneously . The rings worn on fingers are also matching their voice with them . There is sweet tingling sound of jewellery like anklets and anklet bells worn at the feet of the friends . In between bangles and link bells are rustling . 

10. धमके पांव धारुणी , रमती रास तारुणी | 

        फरती जोड फेरणी , न चढे कोणे स्वांस री || 

      सखियाँ रास में मग्न हैं और उनके पाँव की धमक के कारण धरती भी गूञ्ज  उठी है | सखियों की जोड़ियाँ वर्तुलाकार घूम कर नाच रही हैं तथापि किसी किकी साँस नहीं फूलती | 

       The friends are engrossed in the dance of love and the earth echoes with the thud of their feet . Pairs of friends are dancing in circles , yet no one is breathless . 

11. चंद चाल मंद थई , जोई सनंधे थकत री | 

       गत मत भूली गई , देखी थयो उदास री || 

    श्री कृष्ण और सखियों ( ब्रह्मात्माओं ) की इस रास लीला को देकर चन्द्रमा की गति धीमी पड़ गई मानो चन्द्रमा थक गया हो | वह अपनी गति और मति को भी भूल गया है | इस रास मण्डल की अनुपम शोभा देकर ( इस विचार से कि वह स्वयं इस रास लीला में सम्मिलित नहीं ही सका ) वह उदास हो गया है | 

     Seeing the dance of divine love of Shri Krishna and his friends , the moon's speed has slowed down , as if the moon has become tired. It has also forgotten his speed and mind . Seeing the unique  beauty of this ground for dance of divine love , he became sad ( thinking that he himself could not participate in this dance of divine love ) .

12. आनंद घणो इन्द्रावती , बांहोंडी कंठ मिलावती | 

      लटकती चाले आवती , वालाजी जोडे जास री || 

      इन्द्रावती आनन्द से आत्म - विभोर हो गई है | परस्पर गले में बाँहें डालकर मटकती हुई प्रियतम के पास पहुँच जाती है | 

      Indravati is over - whelmed with joy . While walking with a swag, wraps her arms around neck reaches to her beloved .
